So I took my new sniper to its first game today & its great, but not the best.

Fully stock its shooting 447fps.

I'm going to almost completely upgrade the entire barrel, receiver etc.

Heres my list:

- PDI Duralumin fluted outer barrel

- Palsonite Cylinder SET/ VC

- PDI HOPUP chamber

- PDI trigger set

- Barrel spacers

- A.I. Hider 1

- Duralumin receiver

I will eventually get a new spring & inner barrel but no need at the moment.

What do you lot think then, anything else I should get?

Is there a need for a new spring? with a TBB it will go up a little bit anyway.

New spring just to add 20fps ??? no thanks.

If you get the PDI hop chamber, you'll need an AEG barrel and hop bucking as the stock ones won't fit.

A PDI or Laylax spring will be more consistent and won't lose FPS as fast.

I'm assuming it's an L96, mine lost about 80 FPS within the first month, due to the spring.

Another thing, are you copying me? :)

ok i'll leave the HOPUP for now. Only on the barrel :P

the top receiver, bolt, barrel is from an L96 but the stock has a pistol grip & looks better :D

The idea is hop and barrel first.

What's it look like?

Thought it may be one of those, I'm unsure on them though.

The other one I thought you may be thinking of is the Well MB06. Uses same bolt, hop and barrel as the Well L96, but different trigger mechanism.

Will look good though, keeping it black?

Could do, I'm stuck between that and tan on my L96.

Is the Duralumin receiver worth it? It's about £170 and doesn't seem to be much different.

Also, may see you some time as FFZ is my nearest site. Won't be until September though, maybe the game on the 2nd.

it will only make pulling the bolt back easier & is weighs less than the original, it will be one of the last things i get.

If i get my gun upgraded then yes if not wont be till next year.

I'm used to a strong bolt, hard to pull back on mine as it is.

Anyway, I'm getting Laylax cylinder etc and trigger, which apparently doesn't fit in the PDI receiver properly.

If its compatible, the Dangerwerx high engagement hop arms are very good. Available from airsoftsniperparts

i saw that, it needs some modification or something as it wont fit original inner barrel
