Im looking for a 3 point sling for my G&G Mp5a5. I have been looking around and every sling I find has different connections and what not.

My Mp5 has a QD swivel mount at the back and a loop at the front for a sling. What 3 point will fit ?

I use a Viper 3 point on mine, clips on just fine at the front and on the back although the clip doesn't fit the stock mount, the sling comes with some fabric loops with velcro and button fasteners which fit on fine, then the clips attack to that.

Works a treat. Use it with my L85 as well. Anything longer than an M4 you'll run into issues with it though.

I dont know if this will work on my mp5 as it has a folding stock. Will it be able to attach to a qd swivel mount that is on the back of my gun?

It ought to yeah, though since it's being mounted further forward it might give the rifle an odd balancing angle when you let it hang at your side.

MP5s are quite small, and since your mount is at the back of the receiver and not the stock it might be better for you to just get a single point sling, have you considered it?

3 points basically are 1 point slings when you have them unclipped anyway, with the clip done up, they're closer to 2 points. So in other words, 3 point slings are a sort of loose combination of both 1 and 2 point slings.

You might as well just get a 1 point and fix it to the back sling mount. It'll hang with the grip above your waist but you'll be less restricted by the sling straps than you would be with a 3 point.

I have a one point sling and I completely hate it. That's the reason I'm getting a 3 point.

Oh, well ok then lol.

Viper one will do you well. Only about £10 as well.

The issue L85 sling is more or less the same too, but better quality and I think cheaper.
