Hi im new to the forum. just getting back in to airsoft (last time i was in to it, AEG's were things of fantasy shown in the catalogue that came with your spring pistol) after a mate donated me a cheap SRC M4 i decided to start skirmishing.

im now looking to upgrade to something more long term but cant choose what. my budget is decent, and i have a adaptable game style, so its more the quality of the internals and externals that will sway me (especially the internals ). iv narrowed (yeah long for a narrowed list :blink: ) it down to the following ;

King Arms Sig 556 .... (heard only one battery fits and it causes problems closing the stock)

TM Scar .... (FPS is on the low side , and price is on the high side but if its worth it id part with the cash)

G&G t4 18... (I ideally want to avoid a M4 but id live with one of the few variants if its a good package)

G&G m14 EBR... (I live in london so most of the local sites are not the biggest, and the rifle is quite long)

Echo1 XRC Robinson... (not a fan of PEQ boxes but heard the stock could be change so it could be wired to the rear and house a battery there??)

VFC KAC PDW... (PEQ box again, but see RA TECH do a lipo for the hand gaurd but cant find anything on how to hard/easy it is to install)

ARES TAR... (heard bad things about ares internals :o )

MAGPUL ACR... (Is it really worth the retail price? )

I apologies if you guys are sick of answering "what gun threads". iv done all the online research i can but of course due to the number of options no where has any direct answers to the questions so i thought i stop browsing and actually join and ask.

thank in advance for any help ;)

Definitley the tm scar, out of those it's definitly the best- outstanding rifles, fps is a little low but because tm's have such great hop-ups it's no bother. Has recoil too which is nice.

It is pricey yes, but I'm sure a lot of members will happily back up the TM recoil series, for more info, PM 'Rocky-Climby Dave' He has (or had) one. :)
