New Forums Issues, Bugs, Feedback

Obviously these are the new forums. Lots of data has been wiped, most of it has been retained. As the forum software itself has changed pretty substantially there will be differences.

If you encounter any specific issues please post them here. The intention has been to keep functionality as close to the old AF-UK as possible, so if something is missing please do make a note here and hopefully it can be resolved.

Unfortunately anything to do with the old classifieds is lost. Its lack of updates was why the move was made in the first place. Very sorry about this.

I'm looking at ways to at least pull the old feedback score totals, but I'll get back on this.

Images are still showing as needing a web link rather than being able to upload directly. Is this intentional? I don't really want to have to upload images to an exterior website just to then post them here

No, that's not intentional. I'll sort this soon. Is that only on the forums?

Just tried to post a screenshot of my old forums feedback etc. as suggested, but I don't seem to be able to paste it and the picture icon asks me for a URL too. Trying to drag and drop gives a No Entry sign.

Can you possibly screenshot this and send it to me in a private message? I've got a test member account and I'm not seeing that so maybe it's the size of the image? Site wants 1500x1500 but should resize if it's over that rather than reject it.

Has the report button gone missing or moved where I can't find it?

I wanted to suggest moving a thread to another sub forum but couldn't see it.

In Classifieds, I don't see the sub forums under Gas for example such as Gas Rifles, Gas Pistols and Other Gas.

However, I’ve noticed that the 100+ positive feedback and comments I earned over the past six years have disappeared, and my feedback has reduced to zero. I believe I’m not the only one who finds this upsetting.

These feedback were earned over years of hard work and contributions and should be treated with respect, not simply wiped away.

Click on their username, you get a pop up, in the middle of it you should see "ignore"

I'm sure its not intentional, just more likely that some aspects aren't feasible to transfer across.
You've done the right thing taking a screenshot for possible future reference, I myself havent explored fully, there might be an option to add a comment to your profile, stating you have feedback of 104, 100% positive, on the previous forum incarnation.
