New Forums Issues, Bugs, Feedback

Unfortunately anything to do with the old classifieds is lost. Its lack of updates was why the move was made in the first place. Very sorry about this.

I'm looking at ways to at least pull the old feedback score totals, but I'll get back on this.
Please look into getting us our feedback back it’s taken me 6 years to get to 138 feedback and to wipe all that is more than poor

Having that 138 feedback made sales and swaps possible especially in this dubious days, back to zero now makes this site almost pointless to use for anyone that has suffered similar loss as you have wiped out proven trust out to other buyers and sellers

I'll add a little more detail to the previous bit about the feedback: there is an intent to migrate this but it's quite complicated because the old classifieds were not part of the original core software. I can't promise it'll happen but I will try.

Also due to the way that the new classifieds work I cannot simply 'set' a value to import manually on request.

Very sorry about this. At the very least I'd strongly recommend screenshotting your old feedback for now by going to old.airsoft-forums.uk and I'll update more on this once I can.

Has the report button gone missing or moved where I can't find it?
This will be sorted soon.
In Classifieds, I don't see the sub forums under Gas for example such as Gas Rifles, Gas Pistols and Other Gas.
This is intentional. You now select a prefix when making a listing. If you wish to search only by that prefix you can filter. If that turns out to be worse I can see about moving back to the old way.

So the way it now works you actually can, yes.

  • Ads expire after 120 days - this sets the expiry tag to show it's inactive.
  • You can renew any ad for a further 120 days once it expires. You can do this an unlimited number of times.
  • Whilst the ad is active you can 'bump' every 7 days. This sends the ad to the top of the list.

Unlike the old classifieds, relisting and bumping are no longer the same thing.

That's actually quite handy. First world problem but one potential downside is that you may have to navigate through more than one page to get to that prefix.

Just a quick "Thank you" to all behind the scenes that keep this forum up and running and now with its new shiney outfit.
I have enough hassle getting netflix to work, so i cannot imagine the hassle you guys went through to get this sorted.

Cheers guys. :D

liking the new setup. haven't got any technical feedback but maybe for when the more serious bugs have been squished i do miss the boxes on the homepage that showed new status updates/posts/topics.

There's a big black box for new posts, doesn'r always reset if you go back a page but does when you hit home.
