All being well, the link/address to the current site (here !), will then take you to the new set upAlso , how do we actually access the new version ?
Maybe I need to clarify, my understanding anyway, is that the current forum address, name, everything, will remain the same apparently, so the new site is currently dormant while the set up is configured & relevant data is transferred across, once that is completed & proffrink is happy with the configuration (he's doing his best to ensure the look & ease of use is very close to the existing setup), then literally a "switch" will be thrown & all access will be to the new software/site, via the existing links.Mind updating with a link please?
All o know is "sometime this week", obviously with something this big, there are always teething issues, bearing in mind that proffrink has done this off his own back, & incurred costs in doing so, in the hope that the new setup is good for years to come@Tackle - Do we have a new date for the expected change? Or what forum software will be used?
It was, proffrink has unlocked everything until after the move, with the exception of the classifieds ads themselves, everything should be transferred acrossHow are we able to post? I thought the old forum was frozen and read only now?
