My First Game

Well, If I did buy an AEG, It would be an AK. Seens as I just brought a balaclava etc.

I've heard Cyma are good, but G&G do a Combat Machine AK,

Which would be better, And, What about two-tone?
Cyma aks are good but need a spring downgrade to be legal at most sites since they shoot at 370 out of the box.
G&G do an AK that's okay, but the cyma is a lot more solid. Here's the G&G:

If I put an m90 in one from zero one, would that cut it?

Also, for every person who I invite to my site, I get £25 worth of stuff. 4 people and I get a cm16 carbine. A second hand one at that

thats pretty impressive. I would pay the whole school (800 people) £10 each and still make 15 quid per person, thus making £12000 lol. Anyways, if you can stretch your budget or wait a little longer take a look at the G&G RK103 evo, sexiest gun imo

If you go with a family member to an O18 game and rent for a few skirmishes, then they could qualify for a UKARA defence and be able to buy you a RiF. Otherwise you could play there and get a junior membership (If they offer one?). Once you get a junior membership I think it works in the way that you can buy a RIF with your own funds if a parent or over 18 carer is present.

Cyma models over CM.048 are the best as they are 99% steel, but require a downgrade OOB as they shoot a little hot, as well as maybe some gearbox TLC. G&G RK47s are supposed to be epic as well, Ed has one and he loves it

Unsure if they offer junior memberships, the site is UKARA registered though, will enquire next Thursday :)

I'd go TM over WE for pistols any day.

and if you happy playin at your local site with free rentals then why the hell not. No point buying a gun you can use for free. Good sense to me.

For G36C you can't go far wrong with SRC. Just make sure it is the Gen III model you buy since the earlier Gens were prone to internal failures/breakages.

For other options you could try looking at second hand rifles on websites. Couple of months ago Landwarrior Airsoft had a bunch of ex-hire JG G36C rifles for £60 (Grade 1 condition) and £40 (Grade 2 condition) which is brilliant for a starter rifle - sadly all sold but even I considered getting one haha.

Where could I get a JG one? They seem like a generic G36c brand.

Few places you can get them though be warned these guns shoot really high out of the box:

G608 Model

G608-6 "Tactical" Model (uses M4 mags)

Other brands you could consider:

Umarex H&K G36C

ICS G33 (uses m4 mags)

ASG G36C

Out of all of these I'd go for either the SRC G36C Gen III if I wanted a "pure" G36C model or the ICS G33 if I wanted a "hybrid" style. Both guns are fairly solid, cost under £200 and are reliable.

If I was forced to choose one I'd go for the ICS as it has a more consistent track record, doesn't need downgrading (330 fps average) and magazines are more plentiful. Sure, purists will sneer at you for not having a "proper gun" or being a "wannabe m4" user (my mate has been accused of both with his) but it's a brilliant gun.
