I *believe* gen based on the lack of commercial markings, although it isn't date-stamped so honestly a coin-toss.
Picked it up from a friend who was getting out of airsoft during covid for an honestly embarrassingly low price. I was too chunky for it until about 3-4 months ago - fitting in it was genuinely a factor for shedding the chub!

I have a stupidly large collection of Soviet/Russian Federation gear. I also think of my collection/loadouts when handed a desert menu.... I am, and will always be, a size 50/5...

Just a quick and dirty picture of the kit i ran last Sunday:
Frv shooter's belt with 2x pistol and 2x rifle mag pouches, a small flat utility pouch covering the rifle mags and a dump pouch;
Helikon-Tex Numbat Small chest rig, completely useless for the average airsoft game due to lack of magazine space but it's just the perfect size for admin, tools and navigation stuff;
Eberlestock Bandit backpack.
Gun is my main brushless dsg m4, magazines are G&G 450rnd high caps (2+1)
Magazine pouches on the belt need moved 1 slot towards the front as the rearmost rifle mag kind of gets in the way of the backpack and the small utility there is quite useless as it's hard to reach.. Might either move it somewhere else or remove it completely, not sure yet.

Out yesterday, and ran my SADF P83 Battle Jacket for the first time with my VFC FAL/OSW
Very comfortable, and so many pouches I was forgetting where I had fresh mags stashed.
The utility pouches either side make great dump pouches for empties!
Also mixed up the camos a tad as the ground is still covered in dead brown fallen foliage.
The Desert Tiger worked very well.

I am finally ready for my first 24h milsim after spending a few game days tinkering and tweaking guns and load-bearing options. It's an Operation Gothic Serpent themed event put on by Defiant at Longmoor and I am going as a Somali militia sniper. Rules are very low ammo; realcap rules, but also Somalis can only carry 4 rifle mags and 3 pistol mags max, including the one in the gun, with no reloading in the field, so lightweight was the way to go for this.
Scopes will be scrimmed, and I wanted to make sure I had bolt action, DMR and regular rifle covered, with the ability to very quickly swap between setups should I need to; literally just a quick chicom and gun swap and I'm back in since they each have their own chicoms. Will start with the m21 and 1911 setup and see where it goes from there.
