I've been spending a bit too much time on YouTube searching for reviews of the guns I've been considering buying, and there are some damned good people out there.  And some very under-appreciated / under-subscribed channels that I think deserve a wider audience.

So here are a few links from my subs list:

First up is Rock Bottom airsoft.   A mix of reviews, tech help and gameplay.  All well made.  Only possible criticism is he might ramble a bit at times, and does re-iterate his points (in the time honoured presentation skills fashion) but he seems to come up with intelligent and useful stuff rather than click-baity rubbish.    How he's only got 350 subs is a damning indictment of how unfair YouTubery is.

Then there's this Polish chap, Maniek44 who provided an excellent review of the gun I ended up buying (well, a model up the range, but basically the same), so he gets his name in lights for doing me a big favour with one video

And there's Pheas Airsoft with good reviews and also upgrade how-to's and tests.

Ooh la la!  Oioi Airsoft  One of them Frenchies who can speak Anglais? Don't mind if you don't but I do - he's good at reviewing stuff

Fans of the L85 will no doubt already worship at the altar of English Kiwi

There's the usual suspects... new airsofters might not know of these yet... some of them are rather Marmite, but y'know "any port in a storm" sometimes they have content you just can't get anywhere else.

Big Birds Airsoft https://www.youtube.com/c/BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT/videos

There's a bunch more in the subs list I haven't got to, but my typing finger is getting tired.

EDIT:  I'll add extra suggestions from the comments here...

Gunfather Milsim (tactics) https://www.youtube.com/user/rwiley1690

Ze Germans are here  https://www.youtube.com/c/REAPERsAirsoft/videos

So last but definitely by no means on the leash ...  for a sweary good laff, I can't leave out Negative Airsoft https://www.youtube.com/c/NegativeAirsoftTech

You'll definitely pick up a hint of what tech'ing is about.  His brief overview of all the different manufacturers gave me confidence in ordering my Double Eagle.

(Oh shizzle, he isn't last, this is:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W85oD8FEF78&ab_channel=OwlKitty    Just click it already.  Meow.)

I'd throw in Anvil Airsoft as being a favourite; loads of loadout ideas and tips, as well as some of the most thorough and comprehensive testing and reviews.

Also, big fan of Ollie Talks Airsoft. If you're a GBB user you'll find lots of good stuff there.

Big Bird Airsoft hasn't posted in ages but I agree he's posted some decent content.

I must admit, the newest channel I have started watching is 4uad SmartAirsoft

great gbb content and a fresh, almost mythbusters approach to reviews

That's an enormously impressive video, funny, and so in-depth.  Awesome!
it's a real shame they're still a young site and so there's not much content yet.  But that's a "gold standard" for reviews on that GHK gun.

Also - I want one.

I do appreciate them using vices and testing different ranges in a closed environment at range. It's a step above other reviewers.

Think it’s safe to say you can count on one hand the number of GOOD YouTube Airsoft channels as apposed to the utter click bait “look at me I’m so awesome as I shoot yet another unsuspecting airsofter in the head even though his entire body was visible with my ridiculous rate of fire/sniper/HPA/stupid FPS gun !” That makes you want to launch your IPad across the room in to the wall , BAD Airsoft YouTube channels ? ?

I'll add Reaper's Airsoft to the list. You will need to use subtitles and translate (unless you're a German speaker), but the level of depth is really impressive. Pistol reviews regularly an hour long, etc.

I absolutely hate gameplay videos. Utter toss.

I can't imagine truly trusting a retailers review of a product they stock.

The same goes for most channels which have had the product sent to them for free and not even properly tested/used it, yet can't stop gushing over how amazing it "Phenomenal accuracy from this Raven Hi Capa. Here's me firing five shots, indoors and from three metres away."

Based on everyone comments i went and tried this. If anyone hasnt checked it out yet you really should. The standard of production and content is seriously impressive. Ive just lost a few hours to watching everything on the channel. Theres not that much as a few have said but one i want to encourage!

I tend to avoid uChoob airsoft vids, because most of the videos are crap. Much psychotically-overhyped yank stuff showing grown men fighting over a bit of fun, or shaming "cheaters", or Airsoft Internet Personalities showing off very heavily-doctored propaganda claiming they are unstoppable Master Chief-style slayers who never get hit and snipe entire opposing teams in one go from 400m range within 20 seconds. As we say in Scotland, aye right mate, away an dinnae talk keech ya fanny.

Best talking to other players in person and on forums IMO.

Going to throw my hat into the ring and shout out these guys. They were my go-to for sniper stuff when I first started as a fresh-faced 16 year old with a Warrior L96, and they're still my go-to for sniper stuff 14 or so years later.
