As a new player, since December, how do I deal with cheaters?

I’ve had two very toxic game days recently, since it got hot - maybe that’s why. But flat out not calling hits, complaining when you neck shot them to get them to accept the kill, refusing to respawn, the marshals being unwilling or unable to deal with them, full auto in CQB because “it’s not CQB unless we’re inside mate”, or throwing grenades and being unwilling to accept that if I’m behind a wall I’m not dead.

I’m usually very chill, I take hits when I back into a twig. I took a hit when a Pigeon dropped something on me. But today I was so tempted to just refuse to, because the cheating was extreme.

It’s not the rentals either but the people with the £700 GBBs and all the gear. Is this the state of the game now? Do I just use a DMR and aim for the neck? Is this why Mustang goes for head shots? Or am I just being a bit of a baby?

Got my best kills to date though today, feel proud of them. Sneaking up on 6 snipers with my M4 and wiping them out. Lovely.

Transition to face shots for people that don't like taking their hits.
Explain once why you're not dead as behind cover and then if they carry on whining, just only respond with "goo goo gaa gaa". They'll either get absolutely fuming or get the message and walk off.
If you experience poor marshalling, leave honest reviews of the site online.

It's simply not worth caring anymore about losers.

If marshals refuse to deal with cheating, consider calling out it on a review site or social media though if the marshals already have a bad attitude, that's probably the last time you'll play at the site until there's a change in management/ownership.

If you believe there's been cheating and site staff do nothing about it, there's not much else you can do other than vote with your wallet and not return and call it out with a review. One site operating in the North West and West Midlands won't get my custom because its owner has been shown on video being an absolute shit to a player calling out hit taking that took a magazine of rounds to be called by other players. He's also reportedly got his own cabal of regular customers who get away with all sorts of cheating and he does nothing about it because he is happy to take their money.

I hate to be the bearer or bad news, but there is literally no alternative other than to move site in hope of finding a better quality target.

I've fallen down all the rabbit holes, thinking moar dakka would cure the cheating issue, if they wont call one then just send more until they get the memo.... Problem is the end of that road is a 40+rps hpa setup where your minimum volley is 5 rounds. Sadly those covered in sufficient plot armour can and will shrug off a broadside from a 40-mike so all your brrt cannon will acheive is pissing off the actually decent player onsite whilst your still raging at non hit-taking

Few sites actually mean what they say when they claim to ban cheaters, end of the day unless they see more money lost by letting certain folk play than booting them they'll keep letting them on regardless.

Ok. So laugh it off, shoot for the face Olof they don’t take the hit, and hit the marshals in the knees from a hidden spot if they’re crap.

Got it.

Forgot to say that today a guy has a grenade go bang whilst on him. He shouted no hit 😂

Unfortunately, Galvatron and Herr Hamster are correct; you will find people who cheat at all sites and marshalling is never as good as it should be, except in those halcyon days when Dave, Nathan and I used to marshal together ;).

If a site does not work for you, try others; if it is the only one within whatever you regard as a reasonable travelling distance, then either put up with it or find another hobby, the latter being what my eldest did, although I do think that going from airsoft to Iron Man events and triathlons was a somewhat extreme step.

It does very often tend to be the guys with the Cryes who don't take their hits, usually because their egos are too large to allow them to accept that they have been hit by a BB from anything other than a heavily upgraded MWS or, back in the day, a Systema.

As for Wanking Cumstain, he goes for headshots because they generate views and, therefore, revenue from YT. They also get the little wannabes excited, which probably arouses him in some weird way. He is a man who gets VERY upset when a grenade goes bang on him :ROFLMAO:.

TL,DR: Cheating and poor marshalling happen in airsoft; find a site where the level of both is bearable.

It’s a tough one, airsoft is based on honesty, not being a d**k and good eye pro.

Every now and again you come across the cheaters. Today had 3 lads who played well but 1 always took his hits, the other 2 always some how didn’t get hit. After the first couple of times I just moved to another part of the game zone.

I know I’m not a great shot and don’t have great kit so accept it if I shoot at 1 and it’s not a hit but if I get 1 from a group I know I have them all.

Happily I got to mag dump them later in the game, petty but deserved.

1. Hit them somewhere soft until they do call it.
2. Elevate the issue to marshalls.
3. If marshalls do nothing, leave bad reviews in multiple visible places and go to a different site.

This is why I ended up buying a mini gun 😂 after a quick burst they soon take it lol

Wot he said☝️

Unfortunately if a site has poor marshaling, it'll quite literally attract bad players, those who have no intention of playing by the rules will love knowing their never likely to be pulled up for it.
Gotta agree, time to look for a new site, but do your research first, you don't want to throw good money after bad by inadvertently going to a site with potential links to your previous site, always a possibility if their in the same district or even county.
PS out of interest, what's the name of your current shite site ?, their may be other members on here that have had the same issues there & can advise you on a better alternative.

You know what, I'll share the video in question. Ignoring the hit markers, the footage shows a lot of uncalled hits and the owner making an irrelevant dig at a player asking a legitimate question, even if he was a little cheeky.

I'm lucky not to have played at such a site but I can see how a great location can be ruined by bad marshalling.
