    So I had this idea of cutting the mesh out from a flash hider and replacing it with 2 or 3mm polycarbonate, reckon it would work/be strong enough?

      Awesome, after Christmas I'll have a go at dremel'ing out the mesh from my Eotech flashhider and replacing it with some of that stuff. I hate looking through mesh..

      On scopes that mesh is not visible, but I guess on an eotech it's different.
