  1. You're right, it is a stupidly low amount of air, thats why I'm clueless... Theres a hefty amount of air coming out of the gearbox alone so I think thats fine The new hop rubbers I got were G&G greens as I heard theyre pretty decent. On the AK they feed fine but on the m4 they cause blockages. When I put the original back in it feeds fine but with the low fps. I'm pretty good with the tech side of airsoft guns, I know what to look for and have been able to fix most problems, but this has completely stumped me. I understand its most likely to do with the hop section, but unless I purchase a load of different barrels and rubbers until one combination works, I dont know what to do. I've already greased and polished everything, as I said the gearbox is working flawlessly, its just the results that are poor
  2. Old bucking looked fine, tried brand new ones, cylinders are in tact and I've relubed all the o rings, as I said the gearbox is sound seal wise, nice amount of air coming out of it
  3. The bbs drop down after 5m at a really slow speed. I think the chronos fine. I understand how could think that though
  4. I've got two guns, one a base G&P Spec Ops mostly SHS custom now M4 and an APS AKS74 with mostly SHS customs too. Both were working absolutely fine on the last game day before last, no issues. Then comes the last games day and the M4 is getting sub 100 fps, even though I hadn't touched it at all in between the days. Opened it up to check airseal, piston -> cylinder is fine, cylinder head -> nozzle is fine. BBs flow through from the hop no issue. Whats going on? I dont understand how this can happen suddenly and I've spent several days trying to fix the issue and found nothing. Secondly, the same thing has now happened to the APS. Tested everything, all fine, but still getting sub 100 fps. Been using the same make of BBs throughout when they were working and when they weren't (BAW) I've tried swapping out hop rubbers to no success. Can anyone shed any light on the matter?
  5. Problem solved. Opened up gearbox to find it was bone dry of grease. Cleaned and regreased cylinder and gears and now it works fine.
  6. alright ill check them out, cheers
  7. Had to lend it out as a film prop so not yet. I can see that probably being a cause. Will be the first thing I try
  8. Basically my gun was running fine, then suddenly during a game, it acted as if the battery was beginning to die, I mean it quite quickly decreased in ROF. So I tried a spare fully charged battery I had with me and it did the same thing instantly when I pulled the trigger, as if the battery was low on power. Tried the same thing with several other batteries, not just mine, with the same results. Anyone had experience with this issue or know what could be the issue, going from full ROF, instantly decreasing to a slow crawl. Batteries I was using were lipos and I have a PicoSSR mosfet fitted. Probably should note it was raining on the day too.
  9. Thanks man, To help more, I just measured the inner diameter of the cylinder- its around 2.05cm, whereas the JG cylinder I have is about 2.3cm across, so it's only just too small. Do you think the non bore up parts are that much smaller?
  10. Hi everyone, Just picked up an ACM VSR10 and long story short, I've found the cylinder, piston, spring guide, outer barrel etc, is slightly smaller than that on a Marui VSR I would really like to upgrade the piston (as I already have sears, which are compatible) for a higher velocity build, but I don't know where to get a better piston. I have heard the Well MB03 has a cylinder and piston slightly smaller than that of the VSR10, so I assume they might be the same diameter? Meaning I can get this: http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/Bravo-BV3-Spring-Rifle-Upgrade-Kit-WELL-MB03-MB07-p/12204.htm Wondering if anyone has any answers as I've searched and can't find anything of use... Cheers
