  1. Got a leak coming through the top of my asg hi capa co2 mags. I can hear it coming through the router, what would be the best way to fix or attempt to fix this? I've searched online but everything is about the inlet valve and baseplate leaking.

Which nineball bucking are you trying to fit?

    Lined up the grove’s correctly?

    Photos of setup will help.

Managed to get it to fit. It was a nineball wide airflow (whatever that is)

My experience with autobot rubbers is that they seem to be great in everything that isn't an MWS or AKM. I have autobots in damn near everything, my sniper rifles, my pistols... but not my MWSs or my AKM because they were just horrendously inconsistent and flung BBs all over the place.

I've not had a chance to test mine properly. Love the autobot in my pistol, so hoping it'll work well in my noveske.

  3. Me again. Trying to fit a nineball bucking to my friends mws, and the hop chamber won't sit together properly, and won't let the barrel and hop enter the outter barrel. Is it a bucking issue? Am I putting it on wrong? It doesn't seem to fit as well as the autobot bucking he wants to replace (why I don't know, these autobot bucking seem to be amazing to me).

Does the jam look like this? Are you experiencing it on TM mags?

I'm not sure. My friend has my rifle atm as he was setting them up as I pick my daughter up. It has happened before, and from what I remember the bolt goes forwards but the bb doesn't enter the chamber properly and the entire magazine of gas gets vented.

And it's happened with both de mags, and tm type 89 mags.

  5. Need some help from experienced mws users!

Friend is currently getting his mws and my noveske set up for next weekend at tuddenham, and my noveske has jammed 4 times, and now when he tries to fill the magazine he was using it immediately vents out the top, as iff the vaalve on the magazine is stuck. Any ideas what this could be, and how to fix it??

What gun is this for? GBB or AEG?

Gbb. I've sprayed up the pistol grip, didn't use primer as it just peeled off, the black went on lovely, just waiting for the matt coat to dry then I'll be slapping it back on the noveske. It's only to make it look how I want for a game this Sunday.

Get an adhesion promoter or a plastic specific paint (for car bumpers for example).

I used to swear by UPol plastic primer when I was airbrushing.

I've got some grey plastic primer from halfords, worked fine on motorcycle fairings and has never let me down on models either. Also got white, so plenty of options.

Is it worth apply a matt coat afterwards to try and preserve the paint job?

  8. So, I'll start this by saying I'm no newcomer to spraying and airbrushing (airsoft isn't my only expensive hobby), but I do just want to pick a few brains for some quick advice before I break out the rattle can.

I want to spray up my pistol grip cause the magpul moe k2 is out of stock in black almost everywhere and my rifle would look so much better with a black pistol grip.

I won't be sanding it as it has a nice texture to it that I don't want to ruin, so the paint might not adhere great. Is it worth giving it a matt coat, or will it still wear off regardless? Same with undercoating it first, is it really worth it if the paint won't last long regardless?

  9. Ended up getting an angrygun bolt with mpa for now. Seems pretty consistent so far, and it's way lighter than the stock bolt.

Just LOTS of tiny adjustments to get to 1.13j on .32 with red gas.

  10. Me again, with yet another stupid question for you gbbr veterans.

When putting a bucking on a gbbr barrel, do I need to use the little metal ring that came with the bucking?

Put a maple leaf autobot 60, laylax hop arm and laylax barrel into a friend's tm mws and he's getting about 20 meters with full hop, and the bbs almost fall out of the barrel with no hop applied. That metal ring that comes with the bucking is the only thing I can think of that might be causing issues, and I don't have a long enough garden to change it and test it myself.

  11. Ok, cheers everyone. Ive got some silicone oil that I use on my pistol, ill probably go with that for now.

By 3 in 1, do you mean like wd40 type stuff?

Ive got my daughter this weekend so my brain is currently fried from being repeatedly asked "why" and "whats that".

  12. Saw in the mws thread they were suggesting chain lube for the metal moving parts.

Would the muck off all weather lube be OK? I already have some so it saves me a trip to halfords and a little extra money.

  13. So today I'm picking up an evo bolt and ra-tech npas for my noveske.

I've searched online and YouTube, but I cannot find a decent video of how to properly fit an npas. Half the videos have all the bits I need to know being done under/out of the cameras view, the other half are from East Asia and unfortunately I can only speak the one language and they don't have subtitles.

Can anyone give me a breakdown or link me a tutorial on how to fit an npas correctly?

If I can't figure it out in a few hours I'll have to get the angrygun bolt (comes with npas pre fitted) and I'd rather avoid angrygun.

  14. Picked mine up last weekend. Feels and looks great, not very efficient on gas (only running green gas so might have been to cold) and I'm pretty sure I got one of the newer gens with the new black, noveske branded bolt.

Barely hops .3s, so tomorrow I'm sticking in a longer barrel, autobot bucking, omega nub, evo lightweight bolt and ra-tech npas.

  15. Hang on, just watched the video again.

Every other video I've seen of the n4 shows it with a silver bolt, that video shows a black one with noveske logo.

The black bolt is what I have in my n4 I bought last weekend. If I'm right and I have the "newer" version.......efficiency isn't great from what I've experienced. It'll do a whole mag on semi but definitely felt like it was getting sluggish, but won't do a mag on auto.

General consensus is, Avoid AngryGun like the plague for internals, its apparently a roll of the dice whether you get a workable one or a mish one. Both barrels are good but Laylax is apparently better than ML Crazyjets.

Also look into the Federal Concepts NPAS instead of the RATech.

I want the feda, but it's out of stock and firesupport have the ra tech in, and I'm going there tomorrow.

Yeah yeah. You can have somes bad issues with this or this element from this brand or the other one due to bad conception but when you start mixing all the elements with different brands, in my opinion, you increase the possibilities to have bad issues.

    I see your point.

I have about 24hr to make up my mind about which I'm gonna go with, and whether I want to go with a 250mm laylax barrel, or a slightly longer crazy jet (they don't have a 250 jet barrel in)

For me, it's always better if you use same brand so in my opinion the first one.

But maybe the second option works better, i never tried the two solutions.

I have seen earlier in this thread people have had issues with the angry gun bolts not cycling or locking back properly. And I've seen they apparently have qc issues. I'll probably go with the evo bolt and gm npas. It's cheaper too.

  19. Figured there's no better place to ask than here, but for an mws (or clone) which would everyone rate better.

Angrygun lightweight bolt with gen2 mpa

    Or

Evo lightweight bolt with an Ra tech npas?

I found using gunsmodify mags made it way more efficient anyway so no reason to buy DE mags which are around the same price and less well made

Around the same price? Everywhere I've looked the gm mags are 85 and the de mags are 65. That 20 quid soon adds up when you're looking at running 6 of them.
