  1. Anyone an electrician or reallu good with house hold electrics?? Naming shower units.

      She said strip it back and using a terminal block strip ( whichever size you need) you just thread the colours in each hole, put the corresponding ones from the other cable on the other side and insulate. She said being a shower unit though she'd reccomend replacing the whole cable.

      if you get a chance to tell her, replacing the whole cable will be difficult as it goes behind a wall which i have access to but then to the roof where i cant get. so i was going to take the cable behind the wall and then do what she suggested and then thread back through so theres no new connection in the unit or shower area but i have given myself more cable to play with? cheers for helping mate

      I think shes understanding it as the roof and wall bits being seperated, so she's said to buy yourself a length of cable a bit longer than that of which has melted, then ask in the shop for two connectors for the right size of cable because
