    Advice needed ASAP, my boss is pissed off with me for being off sick yesterday, i need to ask for a week off to start my new job & see if i like it but of course he doesn't know i even have a new job.

      I DO NOT Condone this Exscuse & you could also be Liable for some pretty big penalty's if caught with two job's going like so! But Try the a Family Member has Just Died or grab a nice big rock and lamp your wrist or ankle (Not good if you intend on joining the Mil!) other than that Honesty is the best and just tell him it's because you feel threatened by his agressiveness I'd be annoyed if my staff didn't have the Kahona's to tell me that!

      With tesco's a stack of wine bottles fell on my head (no damage apart from a bruise bruise bruise bruise), got 2 days off with full pay. get someone to hurt you with something nasty looking which isn't that bad, preferably at work.
