    Noob question

Thanks for the info peeps, it all makes sense. Going on my first sortie in Feb, so yeah, I'm a bona fide noob so I'll learn all that stuff when I get there. Thanks again.

    Noob question

I think this is a normal problem with gas pistols, so call me a noob .... "You're a NOOB!!" .... but I have accidently pressed the hammer in twice in on my ASG MK23 socom pistol and expended all the gas or most of it. I say normal as I can't see anyway around the design of the trigger/hammer mechanism apart from always having the hammer safety catch on, the problem being it always half cocked and ready to shoot with a pellet in the chamber which I don't think is good for storage or in a safety area. Anyone found a different workaround or jury-rig ?
  3. Just received today and after watching your videos was able to find out how to access the hop unit. Thanks 👍 Having gutted my CM701 sniper suppressor with scouring pads to make it more quiet I thought I'd try with the supplied silencer. Quite easy, I was lucky, the end cap (in my case very lightly glued in) fits inside the housing with a short length of connection which only requires a penknife to be gently cut across the join. You'll feel it give in several places as you go round the rim, don't try to prise it away, eventually, you can pull it off revealing the barrel ext and spring. Take these out and if you have any of those non scratch washing up pads, the 5mm thick ones, you can cut them to fit the inside of the suppressor with just one layer. leave a little for the cap to go on with a little glue and you have yourself a silencer. I use the thinner pads as they have a wiry hair surface which with the thicker ones may influence the flight of the BB.
