  1. 11.1v is going to put more strain on the gun and potentially make it break faster. If you want the best trigger response: 11.1V If you want to try to prolong the life of your RIF: 7.4V You've put a fair amount of upgrades into it, and its your only RIF so I would say go for 7.4v. Or potentially buy another RIF as a backup for when you need to repair your primary.
  2. https://specnaarms.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/HAL1_manual_EN-PL.pdf HAL comes shipped in safe mode out of the box, connect the battery with the RIF in safe then wait for 3 seconds (for the beep) and hold the trigger for 5 seconds What did you do to the gearbox exactly? And which model RIF is it?

  9. Nice I've always wondered about the GHM9-G . How heavy is the trigger on the GHM9-G vs GHM9-K variant? I had the GHM9-K and found the trigger to be a bit too heavy for longer shots

  14. Once it was dispatched from toxicant it took only a couple of days, customs wasn't an issue. That said one of the guide rods isn't straight - so looks like I've got a lemon.
  15. Pretty sure I am going to have to fill in an import form because I just had to fill in one for some blue training MWS pmags, and a hop up rubber. Not that bothered by it as long as they don't seize it! Thanks for the input guys.
  16. Just ordered a Toxicant MCX direct from them and I am a bit confused as to whether it counts as a RIF when its missing an inner barrel? Maybe someone who's ordered one can tell me if customs got real upset about it (I've asked Toxicant to put my UKARA on it just in case).

  18. @aidandeng Without looking at it and knowing exactly what part in the hammer assembly is worn, replacing the whole unit would probably be an easier solution: https://www.kyairsoft.com/accessories/components-parts/we-complete-hammer-assembly/we-f-series-complete-hammer-set-f226-f229.html Because the gun vents gas at the end it tells me that its a run away (the hammer isn't locking back). Sounds like this is a relatively common issue just to do with wear: https://www.airsoftsniperforum.com/threads/full-auto-conversion-mod-of-p226.13758/ . Might also be worth checking if the bloke put an enhanced hammer spring in it because if the hammer spring is too powerful then it wouldn't lock back all the way.
  19. Awesome, thanks for the initial review. What brand of mags were you using?
  20. @Diablo675! Found a spring for you man: https://www.replicantairsoft.com/webshop/en/inicios/2065-mp7a1-fire-selector-bar-spring-mgg1-81-tokyo-marui.html In other news I ordered a Revanchist Gold Power Nozzle Valve for a VFC MP5 and because rumour has it they fit and could be interesting for running propane in summer (could be a terrible idea). And my FPS woes are now solved. I'd done the screw too tight on the hop up when doing a barrel change, leading to a 40fps jump! Am now comfortably able to use propane in winter.
  21. A few lessons learnt from tinkering with my TM MP7: If you want to use propane and its shooting too hot, you can buy a pack of these as replacement rocket valve springs to cut them down to size to get the fps you are looking for: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B076M27VH2 much cheaper and easier to source than buying individual originals from TM. Changing from stock to a Laylax purple hop rubber and 6.03 barrel somehow lowered my fps when the hop was set for .25s. I assume this is because the hop rubber is softer. With a T2 + unity high mount clone you can get a decent cheek-weld and sight picture even with a full mask like a empire EVS. I found overfilling the mags with bbs causes the the mag to put pressure on the nozzle and not feed the first round - this could just be a tolerance with my gun though. Changing the barrel sucked, I kept knocking the trigger bar out and I wish to never do it again. I was going to put a silicon ML hop rubber in my MP7 but after seeing so many bad reports I left it out and went with the Laylax purple one instead. Also red dot recommendations: Vortex Crossfire is good and you can get custom protectors for it on ebay from red_dot_engineering
  22. Just double checking before I buy a test batch, is ASG ultra air lower power than nuprol 2.0? I would have assumed so but patrol base have it listed as "more powerful than normal green gas".
  23. Nothing you should need to lubricate before use, however if the nozzle is sticky you might want to lube that a tiny bit before you play so you don't get squishy trigger (like I did). So is the general consensus that ASG Ultra Air Power is less powerful than Nuprol 2.0? Even though some people (and shops) claim that Ultra air is a higher pressure green gas.
  24. Thanks for this, that makes me feel a lot better that it's not an anomaly.
