Starting this thread as I've run out of ideas and need some outside perspective on some of the issues I've been having with my AEG. The piston locks back, almost like a pre-cock, and causes the motor to run but not turnover the gearbox. This results in a god almighty screeching sound. I brought the RIF second had from a guy who had it upgraded by Daves custom Airsoft. When I got it the first thing I did was to disassembled it, and gave It a good clean and re-lube. It ran fine for 4 games before these problems started. I contacted the guy and he said he never had any issues....go figure. I sent it back off to DCA last month for them to diagnose the problem and fix it. After great expense they sent it back after replacing the motor, re-wiring the mosfet and a few other maintenance tasks. Once again the gun worked fine for 3 games before the same problems started again. In frustration I sent it back to DCA for them to take another look at it. In retrospect I shouldn't have sent it off....but hey ho. Any ideas or pointers would be helpful and I'll try to answer as much as I can. I've spent well over 1k on this thing and don't want to relegate it to the bone yard. My mate said it could be the batteries I'm using in it? I'm using Titan 3000mAh 7.4v Nunchucks with a deans conversion. He said the low current of these could not be providing the motor enough torque to turn over the gearbox completely causing this jam. Alrighty so a bit of an update on my MWS DMR build m. Started off as a banged up second hand CQBR, and is now a URGI-ish bb slinger. I’ve made the following modifications: eagle6 upgraded nozzle return spring Poseidon ice pick high flow valve mapleleaf MR bucking 60 SixG super Nub 14.5 inch 6.03 Laylax inner barrel zparts mk16 DD steel outer barrel zparts 13inch geissele hand guard magpul MOE+ pistol grip magpul CTR stock VFC BCM grip Olight Odin It’s doing around 300-310 fps on .40 BBs on green gas. Happy with the results so far and don’t think I could squeeze and more out of it ! Anyone else have success with DMR builds ?

Just picked up a Vortex strike eagle 1-6 LPVO for my HK416D NGRS. Zeroed for 30 meters and this thing makes me feel like I’m cheating! Would highly recommend.

Thanks guys. Another quick question is, do I need to change the nozzle return spring to get it running with green gas reliably? Or should I just run it stock with Green gas and replace/upgrade parts that break? I just got my first MWS today! Picked it up a second-hand MWS CQBR M4 with a few mags at a decent price. First thing off the bat, it’s beautiful, and all the mags are leak free. A few strange things I’ve noticed, and I wonder if it’s normal or needs attention. 1. The bolt makes this pinging noise when dropped / shot, almost like a spring inside is moving around. 2. The upper and lower receiver has a gap between the two parts. The gap is large enough to look through and wobble around in the hand. I watched Oil's video on using a hair band to fix it, but is there a more long-term solution?

TM HK416D NGRS (Need to come up with a better acronym). Planning on getting some rail covers but can't find ones that would work.

Bit of an update. Well, the dude who contacted me with the part sent it, and it arrived today.....unfortunately, he sent me a broken part with the threading completely broken off 😂. I've sent it back to him, and hopefully he's decent enough to refund me LOL. I spoke to a guy at RedWolf airsoft and they apparently have a contact in Japan that can source original TM parts! So fingers crossed there's hope yet. Pics are the broken part the dude sent me.....

There's none in stock of this alternative, unfortunately Spoke to a guy who saw my ad on prefired and he's willing to sell one that he has spare...at a mark up of course 😅

I've been trying to find a replacement front cap for my broken TM MP7A1 GBB. I've been searching for weeks and have contacted a few re-sellers with no luck. It seems to be out of stock everywhere and no one knows when it will be back in stock. Does anyone know where I could find this part or who I could contact to see if they could source it? Unfortunately, as I'm not Japanese 🙄 I can’t contact Tokyo Marui directly to see if they can provide the part. I put many upgrades into my gun and don’t want to write the whole thing off! Any pointers would be really helpful!
