  1. I’ve got pics it’s not letting me upload them tho 🫤
  2. Awesome. Might have to look out for these see what’s floating around Great episode. Ectoplasm everywhere lol
  3. Battlestations is excellent and the site is at its new location and constantly evolving. Had nothing but great experience there and me and the team are now all members. move not played combat yet but I visited to get my air tank topped up and it looks the muts nuts. Well worth a visit. Tuddenham is very good too but be prepared when you play there by taking ammo and kit into the game field that you will use throughout the morning or afternoon as you don’t return to the safe zone until midday or end of day. That said it’s a wicked site to play also
  4. From my experience spend on good eye pro and boots/footwear first and also face pro unless you feel you need some scars on the face or missing teeth 🤣. Safety first. Keep safe get to play again. After this give yourself a few games. I personally found that as my confidence grew my style of play changed. Or more better put once your not to worried about getting hit you will find your footing. Then only take what you wanna spend hahah the world becomes your oyster. Enjoy it!!!
  5. Welcome to the sport. You will make many great memories and friends. This forum is full of excellent people who will help you get sorted. Can’t wait to hear of your experiences
  6. Welcome. I’ve found that anyone who tries this sport is instantly hooked. Our team grew from 2 to 14 members in less than a year. It is great for the body and mind and for getting nice little red dots when your getting hit haha. good luck playing and finding your desired kit
  7. Yeah this is very true. Always good to see new gadgets out there though. More fun for the sport 😀
  8. Hi all - I’ve seen some videos and sites which show a airsoft bouncing Betty style device. Has anyone seen these for sale anywhere. I know it’s a bit of a gimmick but I’m a sucker for that kind of schtick
  9. Yeah it’s made by WE but I’ll whack the pics on tonight for sure
  10. Ah ok. Cybergun was on the box of both but I know WE make the mags. Is there a way to find out?
  11. Yeah for sure. I’ll grab some pics tonight and show you. both DEs are by Cybergun.
  12. Ooo this should be some more techie fun then lol
  13. Hi - so I brought another desert eagle but as with most Airsoft purchases I didn’t read the description and what I thought would be another full metal cybergun DE GBB turned out to be a plastic gbb - not a major bummer but that ones one me. (Still green gas mags) so when I try and use the same mags I have on the metal version and they wouldn’t locate 🤔🤦‍♂️ when I compared the two the “lip seal” I believe that’s what it’s called is slightly different it’s not flat but slightly angled. Am I able to swap any components in the DE so I can use the same mags in both or change the lip seal on another mag so I can balance out the mags I’ve got? I’ve not been able to find much in terms of guidance in this so far
  14. Tbh I’m surprised that the hop units now aren’t made to allow better alignment however I’ve got a pro hop that arrived today so I’ll see how that pans out 👌
  15. Let’s see lol. I’ve got an MP5 that’s being problematic so that’s next. For that one I can blame myself or anyone as it’s had no work done to it 😂
  16. Nailed this in the end. for anyone that lands in the same situation or is interested lol it all panned out like this: - found the nozzle was making contact with the upper and lower surfaces of the hop. - checked the cylinder, piston and al related compression components all ok 🤔 - found that when the upper receiver was attached the connection was stiff - then found the pin just above the trigger hadn’t been replaced by the original tech allowing the tv to tilt so slightly. - replaced pin and normality resumed 😁 IMG_4838.MOV IMG_4837.MOV
  17. Cracked it in the end. Nub was positioned wrong some how. Sorted it and that was then back to normal
  18. I can just about see the bucking so probs sort slidin the barrel down a few mm
  19. Hey - can anyone recommend a tech in Norfolk please ? I’m in the Kings Lynn area but happy to travel to get the end result
  20. That hop sounds like a good option. Where can I get one? I’ve noticed that the barrel can move a lot with the clip attached I did this. Unfortunately the fps then dropped from 280 to 80 🤦‍♂️ This build has been a nightmare. I then took off the old bucking and the nub and fitted another omega which was slightly shorter than the original omega I fitted 🤔🤔and I also fitted a ML bucking. The fps went up to 120-130. I’m now thinking it’s hop/barrel related so I’ve removed the big tension spring and fitted some O rings to push the hop firmer into the gear box. I’m yet to test it but it’s something new to try. I know the gear box and associated air compression components are good as that was my last area of attack. I have 13:1 gears fitted but an 18k infinity motor. I don’t know if that will give me problems. I’m running a m105 spring but I’ve never been above 280 fps
  21. It’s weird as it’s worse on single fire than on three round burst or binary 🤦‍♂️This tech stuff is a lesson every day lol
  22. Ok cheers for this. I think it’s the nub position most probably. It had a half job done on it which I’ve just discovered. It looks like an omega nub is in but not a maple bucking
  23. Evening all ive found that my bbs are curving right. What could cause this please ?
