  1. Wouldn't worry about it too much, Aslong as it sounds good the lube should be doing its job. Majority of stock guns are not greatly lubed from the factory however they are usually using a thick heavy grease and lots of it with the aim of trying to make it be as "long lasting" as possible. My advice is to only relube it when you are going to have to open the gearbox at some point.
  2. Most likely a bb blockage causing the piston to chew a little bit Is the Umarex the ones that are manufactured by VFC? if so the exterior wise you will struggle to find something as close to the real thing. Internals from VFC can always be a pain though
  3. You can also get mlock qd points, I always like a bit of cord or a zip tie myself though. Glad you enjoyed the gun!
  4. Remember that fps is not important, it's all about joules and if the weight is hoppable. Keep the gun stock for a month I would say when you want to make changes chuck in a ML Yellow and keep the stock barrel as you shouldn't need to trim the lip. After a while upgrade the barrel to a stainless steel one - ZCI are very good for the price however you will most likely need to trip the lip. To do this use a disposable razor, put it on a spare barrel and just take a tiny bit off each time. Make sure to do the drop test in the hop up frequently when shaving the material so you stop just as it let's the bb drop down into the hopup without getting caught.
  5. 0.25s will hop 100% - 0.28s are better and the go to but not 100% sure if they are hoppable with the stock rubber - I am currently running 0.25s despite having a ML Yellow ZCI barrel because the site I went to that was all they had... It's also important to know what type of site you go to. 0.28s are usually better outside and for distance however in cqb you will be suprised how well a 0.20 can perform If you want to upgrade or anything in the future let us know.
  6. You will be happy with it! I am thinking about putting an longer innerbarrel in mine soon and covering it with a either a new handguard or suppressor
  7. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

Hello, Looking for a Polarstar Jack or Wolverine Engine for V2 gearbox. Let me know what you have!

    NO VALUE SPECIFIED

  8. @RostokMcSpoons Bit of a guide for the different types of DE M90: 4 is polymer 6 is metal with a forged style body 7 is metal with a milled style body 8 is a different more TM spec body with a Geissele style handguard and a different stock For the M904s: The length varies with the letter A-D have metal handguards E, F and H have M4 stocks G, L and R have the PDW style stock. R and H have suppressors. G and E have different grips from the rest.
  9. Just had a look and it does seem like it has the same issue as you have mentioned. Fatboy40 says it shouldn't cause any issues and hasn't had any. I would however recommend going for a new barrel. @ak2m4 have maple leaf barrels which should be the best possible fit for the rubber and he might have some more zci barrels soon which are cheaper and may have a tiny bit better performance than the ML ones. I've done a lot of testing with my m904 and finally have it to where I want it. Recently I found a bit of an air leak between my zci hopup and the casing which swapping back to the stock one eliminated and boosted my fps.
  10. Have you tested the gun with it fully built? It may not be a huge issue. I am running a zci 229mm which seems to be fine however the lips need trimming for reliable feeding. It is also possible your hopup rubber is a anomaly and is a bit different to the rest.
  11. Did someone say DE M904 and keep the extra £300?
  12. @Fatboy40it's also a cactus jack version of the m904. I believe there are 3 companies currently "making" the same gun. I've noticed a bit of a drop in my fps lately too. Especially with the heavier ammo. Shooting about 0.88j on 28s but 1j on 20s. Let me know how you get on with the spring. Are you still running your oem inner barrel?
  13. DE have different stock options in the works. Think a folding stock is coming out soon.
  14. I saw that site, was interested till I saw the postage fees!
  15. Hello, Have been playing airsoft for a couple of months now. Currently using a DE M904e and it definitely does the job and offers good performance with the upgrades I have done. Originally I was thinking about getting a cheaper gun as a backup to my M904 however after thinking about it I am going to look into upgrading to a better gun in the next few months and then move the M904 over to my backup (especially with Christmas coming up!). I would like an AEG on the same platform and the budget will be around £200-£400 What is out there that you would recommend? Heard quite a bit about ICS and Krytacs etc
  16. Anyone got a Combat Machine or a Specna Arms in any condition they want to get rid of?

Any reason you're avoiding CYMAs?  The cheapest plastic externals are a bit toyish, but the internals are robust enough.

@RogerborgI'm open to some Cyma's too - Just haven't seen too many kicking about!

      I have a G&G M4A1 full metal going

  17. I usually find with my Dye that a 1 inch riser is all I need.
  18. Little update, Played with it on Sunday - Has become a bit of a laser with a ML Yellow and a ZCI inner barrel. Took a little while for the rubber to break in but once it did the range and accuracy is there.
  19. Nibbled a bit off with your teeth? 😉 I tried the two other rubbers today. Seem to be okay but there was a drop in the fps. Swapped back to the shaved maple leaf and it jumped up again to 342 on 0.20. Also very consistent around that number. Playing tomorrow so will see how the maple leaf performs in a full game and will address from there!
  20. Sorry I forgot to add that it would jam at points. The force it needed to get by the bucking was quite a lot.
  21. Going to give one of the cheaper ZCI 60 degree buckings a go. Have ordered it via @ak2m4 I am hoping with the combination of a zci barrel, zci hopup and a zci bucking that they would of made sure they all fit together perfectly. Might not be as good of a performance as a ML yellow in terms of hop but I will mainly be using .25s and not going for "super" range. I still have the shaved ML yellow which I will give it a shot this weekend and compare it to the zci.
  22. I was in your shoes a couple of weeks ago. If you want something a little bit cheaper and is a good starter have a look at the Double Eagle M90 series. There are full metal options too. They are fairly new and some people have a few concerns over the fake chinese Titan but everyone I know haven't had any issues at all. Build quality is overall very impressive for the cost.
