  1. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

For sale is my Arcturus AK12. This is one of the originals. not the PE upgraded model. It is a very well made gun and heavy, my reason for selling it, as I prefer the alloy on my old Valken. I would say excellent condition, but judge it yourself from the photos. List of upgraded parts is as follows: SHS High torque motor. New gears, don't remember what I got from our friend at ak2m4, but pretty sure 16:1 decent quality (SHS or Rocket) Shimmed very well, only thing you can hear now is the pneumatic pop when the piston hits the cylinder head. Full cylinder, XT antiheat. XT cylinder head, 8 vents with viton oring. Rocket 14 teeth piston, may have glued the rack down on that. It does have a cut down very good M100 spring.I had to cut it because I managed to get a near perfect seal, and even now may sit at the top of the site limits. MR Hop 60 degree bucking with custom nub sitting inside the original hop up unit. Replica has a quick change spring system, works really well also. The rif comes with 4 mags that fit and feed perfectly. One high cap and 3 mid caps. I managed to lose the covers at the bottom on two of them, (stupid design) but I glued them in and had no issues as I didn't abuse them. I have with it two 7.4v Nuprol Lipo batteries in excellent condition, that I can carve a space on the foam for them. 1200mAh long slim stick that goes in that gas tube and one 1450mAh nunchuck style. Also coming with the gun, but not the highlight, is the working red dot sight. It sits nicely with only one screw in. This transaction could work best as a collection, or meet up at a site where the buyer can look at and test the rif. I just moved to Ipswich so not familiar with what's around here. Item will come in the box from the photos. If someone is not familiar with who can own this type of rif's please look it up.

  2. Then it must be what you say, but, why else would they reply to other UK customers in there that "the UK market was very big for us and we are doing everything we can to resume shipping"? Surely if they don't give a crap they can just leave those questions unanswered? Something is odd indeed. They are supposed to be in Poland, I thought we have free trading with Europe still?
  3. Just got a reply from Taiwangun on their ask us session on Reddit, they said UK customs not allowing anything airsoft related in. I guess it's only for private customers. Not even tactical gear...... just dumb.
  4. I know I am digging this thread up, but did anyone order anything from Taiwangun recently without issues? They say trouble free delivery to NI but my England postcode tells me to order from Patrolbase....... Wtf are they doing with the customs post brexit? It's just airsoft stuff.
  5. I took it out, looks like a very clean break at the base, exactly like short stroking. Only reason I asked is because people usually grind the first tooth not the last one, and I do not want to replace the gears now. Barrel is 380mm and everything looks fine. A 140 spring would be advisable I believe because it sits at 1.4J now and I can go up to 1.7J. Thanks.
  6. Hello gentlemen, I was being lazy when I opened my ICX CXP 275 gearbox, and instead of taking both pins out and split the gearbox, I decided to be fancy and just split it with the pin at the front of the receiver on it. Sector gear disagreed with me and said: I will drop my last tooth you w**ker. Now, I don't see anything wrong in the way the gun works, aside from maybe a small drop in power because the spring is not pushed back all the way it used to be before. Is there anything else that maybe can creep it's ugly head later on? Thanks
  7. Sounds like something needs a lot of work to turn those gears, either battery or it needs maintenance?
  8. Wanna lose weight without a ton of exercise which you don't know if it will work for you? Cut the sugar from your diet by a lot and eat as less as possible carbohydrates. Then your body will start processing the fat it already has on storage. Please read that I did not say do not exercise. Everyone has their limits when it comes to that. What I do is get myself up to some huffing and puffing, that is pushing it a bit.
  9. Just in case someone stumbles upon this thread looking for answers: I had replaced the crap stock motor with a SHS high torque one bought from ak2m4 and the difference is clear. Trigger is more responsive, and my rps increased to 15.4 (from 12) with the 7.4V battery. The stock gears are supposed to be 18:1 on this AK. Because of space constraints I think I will stay with the 7.4V battery and maybe change the gears to some 16:1 to add that couple more rps laterz. I was thinking about a mosfet but not that worried about that now, I can replace that miscroswitch anyway if I burn it down.
  10. Nice gearbox inside this Arcturus, radiused, reinforced and QD spring. I had to cut more than a coil from my M100 spring, heat up the end, straighten them smooth it out. Cycling between 1.14-15-16J now. RPS sucks though, 12, thinking maybe change the motor or put in some 16:1 gears, apparently it comes with 18:1 inside. Stock motor couldn't pull back and M130 spring I tried in it, just choked.
  11. What is the best way to go about this guys? Change the spring to some M90 or change the cylinder ? Are there really any pro's and cons to anything or I can do whatever I want? Thanks
  12. Ahh, then I need to try the stock softer spring, good thing it has quick change. 👍
  13. 1.33 Joules I believe it was, got it mixed up. I don't get the part with the section 5 sorry.
  14. Hello again. I have installed a XT anti heat full cylinder together with an M100 Rocket spring but I was forced to leave aside the SHS AK cylinder head and SHS AK nozzle because they wouldn't match Almost 0 air seal between the shs parts, one would expect products from the same company designed for the same replica to be a good fit 😁 So I left the old cylinder head and nozzle in place, greased them well and I get 1.03J and 338FPS with 0.25BB now. The brand new xcortech that measured this unfortunately doesn't count the rps, I think Amazon sent me a returned one, not sealed, batteries missing. I also installed a macaron rubber, will see how it works. I must have done a very good (or bad) job at shimming because it now sounds like a pneumatic weapon, no gear sound. 🤣 On another front I did the compression on my son's Valken mk3 and messed up the plastic motor plate right at the end........... Needles to say the brand new Element M4/M16 grip doesn't match the brand new Element M4 motor plate and the way I forced the screws in I messed up something, smell gives it away Now I have to sort that out, was thinking at the only grip ak2m has in stock right now, but I am a bit worried about how that "door" closes on the end of the motor, will see. Thanks for the advice. Later edit: correction on the Xcortech. With stock gears and 7.4 it registers the lame 11rps a bit slow..... I get 16rps on the 11.1.
  15. Having problems with the new SHS nozzle and the old cylinder head....... No seal. I wonder if ordering a new shs cylinder head would make a difference, or a new aols nozzle, I hear they have thicker orings. The fun...... 😁
