I run a belt for an SMG cause I'm a fat fuck and plate carriers look like a tactical moob holder on me. I have 2 single temu elastic retention pouches and a triple Viper Velcro pouch on one side and a holster and double pistol pouch on the other with a dump pouch in the middle. It's pretty well balanced and the SMG pouches hold 45 round Apache mags nicely. The elastic retention pouches can be a pain to get mags slotted in a hurry but they're snug once in and won't fall out even on the rare occasion I run between cover.

Hand held cordless, I've snapped a pic of the bits I used too. It's not perfect as the chamfer tool is too steep angled to perfectly smooth it all out but it's a bloody good job for 10 mins work and worked really well on the Sunday. With a 4uantum bucking and nub I was getting 60-70m range on .3 -

I chopped a barrel down and re-crowned it late Saturday night ready for game day on Sunday and got an almost factory finish using a large centre drill bit to get the crown shape and a chamfer tool to smooth out the chatter marks. Easy as pie and took about 10 mins all in. Filing the notches larger to fit in the hop unit took considerably longer. I'll snap a pic tomorrow of the crown and bits used. You'll need a proper chamfering bit for metal on a stainless barrel, I got away with a wood tool as it was a plated brass barrel. -
@Punisher3990 Here's my 2 belts Top one is set up for My Apache with 5 mags + USP with 3 mags combo. Bottom one is set up for sniper rifles (4 or 8 mags depending if L96 or VSR) and currently sand viper with 5 mags. Usually I run 2 pistols so have one on either side but really liking the sand viper at the moment so soloing that. Both holsters are on quick release adapters so can be swapped for either belt.

Furry confirmed.. Where's the other reindeer at? Blitzen and the gang feel left out.

Sounds like a PC would fit me like a bra if that's how they should be worn 😂 Set up looks good punisher, I'll take pictures of my belts later and how I've set them up so you can see how I run the same belt. You can rock just the belt for hot weather and carry everything you need. Not gonna lie I actually quite liked the look of the backwards belt clipped to the carrier, if you find it comfortable run it! A word of caution for the belt you linked, as a bigger man the buckle will dig in and be uncomfortable very quickly, I had 2 and sold them as it was painful after less than an hour of having it on. You can get cheap belts with that style buckle on temu for ~£2 to try it before splashing out on the Emerson one to decide if you'll like it or not!

Exactly the answer I've been looking for, I thought I was going mad not realizing something that should be glaringly obvious. The second notch in the hop unit was really throwing me off as all the VSR/GBB barrels I have are all single notch and all the searching I've done about replacing the barrel no one has said about filing anything down. I'll give it a go tomorrow as I'll be cutting down a spare tightbore to fit anyway so will have all the tools out. The pictures I was looking at must have been VSR barrels as they were all single notch, another Google has shown me more with the triple notch. That'll teach me for not being more thorough 🤦🏼♂️ Your replies are much appreciated guys thank you!

Hi guys Attempting to change barrel on my Apache tonight and have come across an issue no one else seems to have raised in the searching I've done. The original barrel has 2 locating notches but all replacement barrels I've seen including the raved about crazy jet are all single notch, so are people filling down the second notch for barrels to fit? Am I missing something glaringly obvious? Thanks Lewis

Definitely didn't buy the Mac 11 spare parts bundle in the classifieds so I can have 3 functioning Mac's and some spares for when they inevitably break... One day I'll have as many Mac's as I do mags and will be able to throw them at the opposing team when empty and grab another fully loaded one to use 😂 -

That only works if upgrades actually fit and work in it... HFC thought it would be great to clone the TM then make it completely out of spec so fuck all fits... It's why I have to keep buying M190s every so often to cannibalize for parts to keep it going 😂 Definitely selling it well...

Does that mean my M190 from circa 2005 is worth thousands because it's super rare? It is kinda shit but I won't tell prospective buyers that... I'm sat on a gold mine boys 🥳

Time to upgrade the flat or get a sofa bed... Long bed version can work material up to 779mm long, plenty big enough for any airsoft barrel 😉 -

Cheeky little myford super 7 is about the size of a computer desk and perfect for small finicky airsoft bits... -
https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/other-equipment/other-equipment_1/pistol-case_i85333 £70 for a used nuprol pistol case. SEVENTY POUNDS.... You could get a second hand pelicase for that. He also has a C02 1911 with "custom" grips for £170. Shit if that's the case I'll sell my pimped drug lord for £400, any takers?

Shirt/Trousers for the larger gentlemen question

Looks like a good set up chap, load your PC up with all the stuff you'd take out into a game before you adjust it so it'll sit right and be comfortable. The belt and harness combo I use is Viper, adjusts out to a 52 waist and down to 30/32, it's comfortable and the harness offers lots of adjustability, would sit under your PC well. You could also use a pair of normal suspenders if you wanted something slimmer/smoother under your PC. I have 2 different belts and swap the harness over depending on if I want to run my VSR/L96 or MP5. One is laser cut molle and the other is molle loops and I can't say I notice any difference in them aside from how they look TBH. I used mesh cause I'm a sweaty bastard and fog up goggles within minutes of being on the field, I don't think any normal anti fog unit could keep up unless it was running big fans. A helmet will only make the fogging worse for you but will give you a more comfortable place to mount an exfog unit. I've never liked external knee pads as I could never get them to sit comfortably and be on the right position so didn't bother with them till I got trousers with inserts, they will help with the baggyness you suffer if you can deal with external ones though. You could always run a dropleg holster if a belt platform wouldn't work for you. -
Looks like a secutor velites variant from a quick Google search which are a rebrand of golden eagle shotguns which are pretty highly rated. Can't find that exact model though.

Emerson Gear trousers have Velcro straps around the knee area to deal with the baggyness, there are also cords inside the trousers that are adjustable to keep the knee pads over your knees at all times, it feels strange at first but after a few minutes it feels natural. Here's a picture of how they fit me (38/40W, down from 52!) -

Big boys unite! Emerson gear without a doubt, I'm a large chap but short and struggled to find decent gear that fitted well until I came across EG stuff. It's around £110 for a UBACS and trousers, lots of different straps for adjusting and suiting you as you drop weight. Knee pads are quite thick but comfortable and definitely help if you have dodgy knees like me (fucked them up on the edge of a paving slab of all things) One thing I would recommend is going a size up on the UBACS as the main body is form fitting and shows every lump and bump. There's a few pictures of me in my gear showing how it fits on different threads.
