  1. @alxndrhll I agree, DAI leasure is best avoided. I ordered a Hawke Red Dot April 23rd. They didn't contact me to let me know they didn't have stock. They respond to my emails by saying they'll look into my order and never got back to me. They said they'd refund me twice and still haven't after nearly 2 months. I understand stock errors happen, but it's an awful customer service when they don't let you know, ignore you and then even lie to you.
  2. I've also been looking. There aren't any in stock anywhere in the UK. I suspect there is a licensing or manufacturing issue. There are a few sites listing pre-orders so hopefully they start selling them. The only place I've found with any stock is: https://www.switairsoft.com/product-page/ksc-mp9-t-n-t-upgraded But that an important from Taiwan so will cost, plus have the usual customs problems. Note they do say that they do downgrade guns for export and the MP9 does run a little hot for the UK. If you do come across anywhere selling let me know, I'd appreciate it.
  3. Hey. Hopefully you've got the issue sorted. If not I have a recommended purchase list: AEP lipo battery (£16) TM AEP adapter (£10) LiPo Charger (£24) Battery meter (£10) LiPo charging bag (£5) The battery meter and bag are optional. But I do recommend the meter to help ensure you don't over charge/discharge the battery. Lipos can occasionally catch fire so the bag is recommended. If you don't get the bag, at least charge in someplace safe like a kitchen where a small fire won't burn the house down. Don't use a nihm charger on a lipo. Don't leave it on charge alone, AEP batterys charge quickly. Don't charge around things that are flammable.
  4. @Opforia Hey, I'm looking to run my MP9 with HPA so was curious what set up you settled on in the end? I don't have any HPA guns or gear so any advice would be useful. Thanks👍
  5. Hi all, Does anyone know where I can get an suppressor that fits over the outer barrel of an M14 so it's not too long. The closet I have found so far is a 'Swiss Arms Barrel Extension G.O.O.B 320x45 14mm Thread', but I cannot find the internal dimensions so I'm unsure if it will fit. Thanks in advance, Nathan
  6. Hey, Have you considered getting an SMC9, then you could get a GTP-9 pistol and use the same mags.
  7. @Mr. No_Face It's a gen 2 and does have the release button. I think the import version shoots a little hot at around 370fps. I've had a look at the spring and its very short and stiff. Looks like I'll have to cut down a few different springs to try out. With it running at 300fps I think a 11.1v might risk premature engagement, so I'll wait until its upto 340fps.
  8. @Mr. No_Face I ordered it form Land Warrior. It just arrived and works fine. It does however come with some paperwork that shows it only shoots at 303fps and to only to use a 7.4v Lipo. I suspect they might have detuned it, and recommend to use a 7.4v to avoid having to repair it under warranty. Later I'll chrono it and as its got a quick change spring I'll pop it out and have a look at it. If you want mags the only place I found with stock is powair6. They also do the rails and 12mm cw to 14mm ccw adapter.
  9. Hi all, I've just ordered a Umarex/VFC MP7A1 V2. I've read contradicting information about what battery to use. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has experience running an 11.1v lipo on the V2 at around 330-340fps to know if they had any issues. Thanks, Nathan
  10. Hi All, Just working on my project Pistol a TM G18c AEP. I was looking for a threaded barrel/slide and there isn't much choice. I however did find the new Novritsch SSE18 slide will fit. If anyone wants to do the same, it does require some slight modifications. The end of the plastic barrel needs cutting down and the internal top cover need chamfering to fit the internal profile of the slide. (Optionally you could order the SSE18 top cover, which looks like it will fit). Its a snug fit but, locks together well. The metal slide is actually a few grams lighter that the plastic TM one, and I prefer the sights.
