Hi guys, so I’ve been playing on and off for the last 14 years now and head protection has varied between baseball caps, boonie hats and just good old fashioned hair but now wanting something to protect my noggin ( both from bbs and solid floors as I tend to play more urban sites these days) my question is; are helmets worth it? are all helmets made equal or do you get what you’re paying for? Other than basic styles are there any other features I should be aware of? ( id probably be looking at more of a FAST style) is sizing adjustable? I have a bit of a big head ( not as big an old friend of mine who had to have the safety harness thing dismantled when getting off Air at Alton Towers; but still bigger than average) do they make your head sweat? and will it interfere with my face protection? Currently run a basic mesh eye pro ( looking at moving to goggles if anyone has any recommendations) and a mesh lower ( because I like having teeth, dislike dentists and hate spending money on anything that isn’t gigs or Airsoft) cheers Matt

I’m looking at getting 2 pistols to run as a standard set-up regardless of whether I’m using a rifle, smg, sniper, DMR or pistols only. I tend to play woodland or urban ( former military bases / prisons) but occasional CQB so I want a set up suitable for all. My thoughts: pistol 1 - long range super sneaky ( I think we all know which platform I’m talking about) and pistol 2 - which allows for quick follow up shots for those times you’re finding yourself out numbered. Pistol 1 - we all know I’m talking about a MK.23. The only real question is which one; TM, Novritsch or clone ( ASG / STTI)? Which will give better performance? ( range, accuracy, gas efficiency) or will there be any difference when upgrades are done?( TDC, Crazy jet barrel, Hop rubber and whatever else I’ve forgotten to say). Pistol 2 - this is the one where I’m not too sure on the platform so other suggestions welcome. The current contenders: TM FNX.45 TM HK.45 tactical TM Hi-Capa ( but lots of upgrades to look like a Kimber TLE) Novritsch SSP1 AAP-01 ( with black mamba slide and potentially folding stock and when I have an HPA set up.. MP5 magazine adaptor) Taran Tactical John Wick double stack 1911 whose name I cant remember (because who doesn’t want to be Mr Wick) Other suggestions welcome ( just please no glocks, I already have a TM Glock 17 which I’m looking at selling. ( no issues with it, I just fancy a change. Any one interested? Has upgraded recoil spring, maple leaf hop unit, crazy jet barrel; comes with 2 standard and 1 extended magazine) many thanks Matt

I’m looking to upgrade my Evo. Internally so far all I have upgraded is the bearing spring guide and it’s currently slinging .28s nicely but I want better range. i already own the CNC hop unit which I haven’t yet installed and am looking at getting the 6.03 208mm madbull black python inner barrel and want it slinging .32s only issue is that last week it chrono’d dead on the limit for .28s. ( 350fps on .2s) if I swapped the spring from an M95 to an M90 would that power decrease be sufficient to cover the slight increase from an improved hop unit, rubber, barrel and potentially R / flat hop mod?

I have the VZ.58 short which is currently firing best part of 400fps; any advice on how to get to the gearbox without fully disassembling the rifle?

Thank you very much. on the day I tried to use it until I found it was too hot I had a battery duct taped to the reciever. edit : ive just ordered 2 of those batteries.

Hi guys, need some help, I recently bought an Ares VZ.58s but it is firing around the 400fps mark so need to reduce the power. is it possible to get to the gearbox ideally without fully dissembling the entire rifle? ( really hoping for a quick change spring gearbox 🤞) also does anyone know of any batteries that will fit in the minuscule battery compartment? Cheers Matt

Ok guys; need some advice. Hi guys; first of all I want to make it clear this question is not about speedsoft; this is not about an M4, MP5, or Evo. My question is solely relating to LMGs. in the real steel world LMGs have a significant advantage in a firefight; normally higher caliber, higher capacity and higher rate of fire than standard rifles. in airsoft they don’t seem to have that suppressing superiority due to high cap mags and everyone throwing the same plastic pellets at each other. so now comes my question; what sort of RPS should I increase my LMG to in order to keep peoples heads down better but without looking like a bit of a D*ck? I beleive it’s currently around the 22rps mark. also can electric drum magazines be worked on to improve their feed rate? thanks in advance
