That's the main issue delaying the release of this rifle from what I've heard. It only holds 7 rounds, 3 less than the real gun. If they get round this I'd love one for an alternate history, British resistance loadout

Sounds exciting!!!! Fingers crossed for its release later this year. Price will be interesting!!!

They have been like that since the beginning, it seems to be a trait of the company, seen this very topic many times on many forums over the years, good luck with them

Yes...it would appear so! Contacted Warren today to ask for an update on a LE No4 that he'd promised to sell me. Long story short and believe me when I say I was the one doing the chasing. He still hasn't been bothered to inform me that he is no further forward in finishing the gun even though in April it just needed tweaking. This was for a 50th present and I'm so disappointed. He advised me to look out for it on their website and buy it "IF" they get around to making it!! Told him that I wouldn't be buying from him as his customer service was utter crap! Will await the S&T or G&G versions when released! Rant over!!!!

It’s very nice, needs the wood work distressing a little, and the bolt pull is disappointing, but otherwise I like it.

Yes the wood work is as it would be when issued from the production line...new. I'm not intending to use it as a prop for re-enacting so won't be distressing it. The bolt pull is quick and easy and makes a solid sound however obviously if using a 303 round you'd pull it back further. For collectors and target shooting though I think they've got it spot on!

I'm still awaiting pics and info from Warren at Shoot & Scoot with ref the LE No4 of which is intended for Airsoft skirmishing!!

  4. Just been firing it now and it has a lovely "Whack" sound with each pull of the trigger! Great Air Rifle for fun shooting. According to the retailer I bought mine from there are no more in stock in the UK. Now awaiting the second batch however might be £40 more expensive!

  5. Hi

It is an extremely well made bit of kit. It has a full dense heavy wood stock. Feels amazing in your hands and certainly well balanced. The metal work on it is solid and not cheap light weight like on other guns. The cocking mechanism is solid and precise. The CO2 bulbs are easily fitted in the magazine and you get 35-40 shots from it. Magazine holds 15 BBs. If you are wanting a garden rifle to target shoot then this is an awesome rifle. Not to be used in skirmish as too powerful and it shoots metal BBs. It's not cheap at £399 but you get what you pay for and this is good enough to go on your wall. If you are a re-enactor then this is ideal for you. Mine came with the sling but you'll need to shop around as some retailers don't include this in the package. I bought mine from Sunderland Air rifles! There is a good review on YouTube...search Lee Enfield Air Rifle look for the Blackpool Air Rifle review.

  6. With ref to the spring No3 and G&G No4 I can't wait! Although I have just bought the SMLE steel BB firing air rifle. Too strong for skirmishing but great for target shooting in the garden. It is a solid piece of kit, very well built indeed. My son's Swit K98 is also in the picture.

  7. Hi guys

So my M1903 from S&T gave up after only 8 mags going through it, cocking mechanism broke! Really disappointed as loved the gun. James from Bespoke Airsoft arranged collection and a quick refund..so can't fault him or his team. Anyone else had similar experiences from S&T products? Currently now waiting on Shoot & Scoot Lee Enfield No4 to be ready.

  8. Hi

I've spoken to Warren a couple of times and agree nice chat each time. He has been promising a photo of a resin Lee Enfield No4 that he has been working on but as yet, all talk no action. So frustrating chasing him for updates....Thoughts are if he's this bad trying to buy stuff what's his after sales like!

  9. Hi guys

Anyone got any feedback in dealing with Shoot and Scoot? I've been in contact with these guys since April with ref to buying one of their products. So so frustrated as I have been chasing for updates with very few replies back, plenty of promises but no action! Thinking of going elsewhere as surely a customer shouldn't be the one chasing the retailer for a sale! Thoughts and experiences please.

Yeah S&T make decent airsoft guns, i have a Stirling SMG from them and its built really solidly. Only thing the 1903 could do without is that awful made in China stamp on the trigger guard.

Also SWIT are probably the best website for historic airsoft guns, but am always slightly put off having to deal with the whole import malarkey.

    Yeah....

Easily removed with black paint or weathered effect!

Does that come with the sling? A half decent M1907 copy is a very nice touch. Looks a very bonny unit.

So this rifle came from Bespoke Airsoft in the U.K. The sling is a M1903- M1907 from Soldier of Fortune. You can get the upgraded version from Swit Airsoft but expect to pay at least £150 more plus import/custom charges!!

  12. Hi guys

Had a reply from Viva Arms this morning in answer to an update on the No4...."Due to the Covid-19 outbreak all new products have been delayed". They didn't confirm they were actually making a new No4 or acknowledge that there had been any problems with the first version of the rifle!
