Hi again, having more issues with the classic army scarab. I'm looking for a new hop as the one that comes as stock seems to be allowing double feeds at random times. Problem is although it's an m4 hop, the to part is alot lower. Alternatively could I cut the top piece out of the outer barrel to allow it to accommodate standard m4 hops Hop with barrel in is the standard

Has basic options i.e burst mode etc. Ill have a look at the peruns. Must be an optical mosfet as the shell has no trigger posts. They modded the v2 shell to house the mosfet. After more in inspection I feel that the active break may be adding to the heat of bad motor allignment. Packed out one side of the grip to straighten motor and heat has dropped dramatically

Literally just about to write that, I noticed sparking from motor after re shimming it and setting AOE. May sound stupid bit is there a way to remove active breaking or should I just get a mosfet without it.

Hi just received my classic army scarab abr, having a slight problem with it. The motor (which Is the high torque version) is becoming very hot within 15 shots (be it on auto or semi). Is this going to be down to poor factory shimming/motor alignment?

Think my easiest option is to just buy a cyma complete and drop it in. I believe there only around £70

None at all, motor pushes bevel against shell No it's the correct side for bevel to be that way, it's the side without wiring

So I got my new shell and having exactly the same issue. The bearing are seated perfectly, not risen and still no room between bevel and pinion VID_20210729_130919.mp4 My guess now is a new motor cage

It's as far in and seated as it will go, almost as is the bushing groves on shell aren't deep enough either, also noticed the sector gear is being the shell on oneside, looked at bushing is fine but shell is milled at slight angle. I've ordered a new gearbox shell now.

I've ordered a modify torus v3 shell. I'll update this post if needed when it arrives. Thanks for all the help adolf Wouldn't make a difference as the bevel will still be too close to pinion

Going to try a new shell then if that fails I will try to sink the bushings. Thanks for your help

I think the gearbox is just a lemon, I've noticed wear marks when the shell where the sector bushing isn't sitting flat, next question is the lonex or modify shell the best

Hi all, my specna v3 gearbox is causing headaches. Basically when I shim I shim bevel to pinion method, but when I tried I can't even get a 0.5mm shim under the bevel as when motor is installed it is all ready biting on the pinion. I've tried different bushings( low profile) and still the same. Is it a case of getting a new shell?

Hi again having issues with my sr25. Basically it's locked to semi and I'd I do a slow trigger pull it will double fire, if I'm quick with the trigger (mechanical) it shoots fine. I feel that the trigger shuttle is engaging the contacts to soon before the cut off lever kicks it off, causing the connection to remain for too long. I'd this the case ? Any way to rectify it?

How much will 144a gas lower it to ruffly?

Hi all, I'm new to gas guns and needed some help in lowering my pistol (well dmr'd aap-01) fps. It currently shoots between 470-500fps, I ideally need. It between 430-450 on 0.2g bbs, does any one have any advice

Now this sounds like it will work. Also I do alot of aeg tech work and new to gbb, is there a way to reduce fps as it's shooting between 470/500fps on 0.2g since I installed the maple leaf

Can't do that as there is a separate ring inside the handguard that goes first, wasn't sure if there was a metal outer barrel available

Hi all recently acquired an aap-01 which has been dmr'd (so to speak, locked to semi shooting 410fps on 0.2g) problem is, is where the front rail system attaches to the outer barrel( locks on with screws and bites down on outer barrel) there is movement with little force as the outer barrel is polymer. When pulling tight into shoulder it will cause the front end to move slightly causing inconsistent accuracy Is there any way to stabilize this?

I believe this guy ran this as a dmr because it 420fps on 0.2g, hitting targets at 260ft with 0.3g (Google maps). What are field regulations regarding this. Aegs 350fps , dmr 450fps , basr 500fps. My field doesn't Chrono green gas pistols.

Managed to find a 3d printed one. Tbf I probably won't use full auto much it's just more knowing that I can if needed.

I bought it from a local guy, you can buy the semi lock switch in alot of places. From alot of forums I've read alot of people lock them to semi. I'm just going on what I've read. But I'm wondering where I can pick up the standard selector This is what it has currnelty
