You are both right to be fair! I should just run my aap, I really like the mamba/scorpion uppers with the hole for the tdc. In all fairness I haven’t given the aap enough time in games as of recent, and maybe dismissed it too early! I’m extremely ADHD with projects, I’ll start it, get bored and see the other shiny thing and be drawn towards that but I shall persevere 😂 Any recommendations of something that’s co2 and needs minimal work.Cz perhaps?

Thinking about grabbing a Novritsch pistol (SSP5 or SSP28) to use as a sidearm in woodland, but also maybe as a main for CQB. I’ve already got an AAP-01 and thought about putting in some upgrades (tti scorpion kit) but by the time I finish it, it will be a money sink and no guarantee it would be better than something i can just pick up online. I like the idea of something snappy and reliable out of the box, but I’ve seen mixed stuff about Novritsch quality and proprietary parts. Anyone here using a Nov pistol as their CQB primary? Worth it? Or should I just keep building the AAP. (other suggestions are welcome, i do like a 2011 and im not ruling anything out. What are you guys running for a woodland backup or CQB main?

So I stupidly forgot to record what it was chronoing at with my .46s in there but I think it was up to i want to say 2.7 2.8 but that would be a guess. Barrel is clean bucking is in good condition, I guess I'll just have to order a few different springs and see what it comes out like, start with the 130 and go from there!

Wouldn't changing to a Less powerful spring and using heavier ammo just make it a lot more consistent in terms of trajectory and flight? Doesn't look like it's been touched internally I just want it to throw out heavier weighted bbs to stabilise flight without the joule creep that I will get with this power I currently have!

Heya, so on an impulse buy I picked up a barely used ssg10 firing 2.3j on .32s which was awful outdoors with some wind. Does anyone have any recommendations of what spring to buy so I can hop something more outdoor friendly such as .45/.48?

Sorry you seem to know your way around a glock ive got a completely stock TM glock 17 gen 3 which I've had for like 8 years and I've always liked the idea of a metal slide, what upgrades would you recommend for it or any specific slides youd use? Or is there any real reason to treat myself to a new gen5?

Amazing first gameday at apocalypse today for me and my friend who is new to airsoft. Games were fun, staff were great and the weather was incredible! Ran around with my new arp9 with my drum mag and tried to pretend i was ten years younger until my back decided to remind me that im getting old! 😅

so i picked it up for a little under the offer, the charger went straight in the bin! the lipo was fine and the sight was a theta optics one that seems quite alright! standard 15 quid nuprol sling. Played today with it and it ran like a dream so i am a very happy chap right now!

Hey all, negotiating with someone over a arp9, battery and charger inc. g&g drum mag and the one it came with, offbrand red dot and a sling. is £260 a fair price do we think? apparently the rif has been skirmished once and no work has been done to it.

Deffo on the same page! No not ruling it out at all, in fact I have Nov p90 and been really impressed with it. I'm surprised the MK2 is out as it gives the impression something was wrong with the first one? Where ive not kept up with the scene I'm completely clueless on this stuff 😅

So just a good barrel clean and I'd say minor adjustments at a push that I could easily do at home. Just looking for a fantastic platform ready to go and will still be great in a few years. Im not against paying for things to be upgraded, but I'm just valuing reliability over bleeding edge of performance at the moment!

So as the title says, what is your opinion on what is the best out of the box, leave it alone AEG? I've played the on and off these last few years since covid but all my rifs are in a state of needing some work doing, a good service wouldn't go a miss. Back playing semi regularly and would like to see what peoples opinion on this are. Last time i played the CZ EVOA1 was getting a lot of love as a stock rif, just wondering if there are any new manufacturers or models i could consider! thanks all!

Thank you for your recommendations! I do hate the lock up in semi on my 416 so i will add a titan or something similar soon, i dont tend to spam so ive been alright! The Saiga does look mighty tempting as im mainly playing CQB. If i was playing more outdoor games i would have caved and drunkenly ordered the MK46! I have enough toy guns where im not in a rush to buy anything, its just that itch you know, it wont go away until a parcel turns up at the front door Ill plod along until what we see next year, i might see about a cheeky MWS for some gas only games/plinking in the garden in the meantime

If I try to buy one I think I’d need to find somewhere else to live, the mrs won’t be too happy! But if one cropped up here cheap enough I could be tempted! It looks good What functionality does the KWA not have? And I’ve heard this said about bolt a few times but with everything I don’t know how much is true about them rattling themselves to death. Watched a Neg video where he was saying that like any gun with moving parts they just need regular maintenance. I do quite a bit of my teching myself so going in to tighten screws up every now and again is no bother! Whats your experience with them? edit, watched a second video where he said he would never touch them again! I don’t know why I like the recoil so much it would make buying these things so much easier!
