  1. @ButcherBill Suppose we will soon find out as there are legal proceedings for essentially exactly the same thing, albeit for a different product, that another individual took it upon themselves to report the owner to the police after many years of ownership.
  2. I have a brand new KTW 1873 Carbine available if you're after one?
  3. Because there are no "shady practices". I don't run business that way. The "patch" aka this kit, which I ran for about 6 years with no issues either in person or online until HRC, weird. I only put that together because I found the K98K. You can complain about anyone in the Frontlines Airsoft Discord too who also do historical kits, who are a great bunch of guys. Yeah I made some comments about that too, look at the rules about the server and how militant and childlike they are. Never had any issues anywhere before, or since, and certainly not related to the way in which I conduct business ? HRC has its own reputation, and its not just coming from me. I'll leave it at that, as this has far detracted from the original point of this thread.
  4. I got banned from HRC for "shady practices" did I? Care to quote what they are, or are you going to still waffle on about something else you don't understand? You're more than welcome to showcase what your shipping prices are after your proact order for a rifle ? They were literally the shipping options presented. You can call me a numpty, but the fact is if you believe margins are anywhere close to 100% for airsoft guns in the UK (try removing a zero, you're much closer), then every single UK airsoft retailer would like a word.
  5. I mean here's some EMS quotes from HK stores for a PPSH, coming in at 4.2kg.
  6. Have you ever thought nobody is getting products "wholesale" from proact? And if it was that simple, why are no other stores in the UK hundreds of pounds cheaper for the same thing because of who they're getting it from? Why would any store price themselves out of the market and encourage people to shop from overseas stores, when they can just make a profit by not doing that? After shipping costs (which you've missed) and taxes, maybe you'll pay around £600 from Proact. Shipping is often £100+ on airsoft guns. If I could buy it for 30% less than you can directly....why wouldn't I, or literally any UK business just sell it for more or less the same price as it would work out for you after fees, and still have that margin?
  7. You have absolutely no idea if you think UK stores are making 100% markup on literally any airsoft gun.
  8. Mid-late October on the website, but in all likelihood it should be sooner than that. Rather have a pleasant surprise than a disappointment!
  9. After asking Viva, they are 120rd Mid caps.
  10. Today's the day.... Bren pre-orders are now live! Magazine pricing and availability soon to follow... https://www.raresoft.co.uk/product-page/viva-arms-bren
  11. The one on the link looks like a matte finish, reminiscent of 3D printing (I don't know if that one is, I know some prop versions have been in the past.
  12. I can guarantee you that the product available on my website, and the one on the link sent earlier are not the same. You can see for one that it doesn't have the correct enamel finish.
  13. It will be going on my VFC AK as soon as it arrives, and then I'll make a product review to showcase, but it should be no problem
  14. Proud to be bringing the first readily available OKP-7 replica to the UK market! Currently have a Picatinny version in production, just waiting on some information back from the factory next week and hopefully I can launch a dovetail rail version at the same price point, or maybe ever so slightly more depending on cost. Discount available for initial customers willing to pre-order, before going to full price on general launch (ETA early August) https://www.raresoft.co.uk/product-page/raresoft-optics-okp-7-replica-picatinny-version
  15. 9304.00.0000 That's what I've used the last few times if I remember correctly (just remove the dots if any error flags up)
  16. UPS, just make sure to declare it properly, and use the correct tariff code for airsoft guns.
  17. The whole reason why the business model works....is being good at understanding the value of items on the used market. It's not as though I'm picking these up for £500 and trying to flip them for an extra £1000. Similar packages fetch similar amounts in places all over Europe and the USA. The buyers decide the market for these. Okay, you ask someone to custom machine, or cheaper still, stamp these items out of steel. I'm sure it will be far cheaper than even paying for the ever increasing Groza prices.
  18. Lol, "inflation" has nothing to do with the price of a discontinued collectors item. These packages vary depending on condition and "original" accessories more so than any other average gun. Finding a Groza packages with the suppressor, four 9x39 magazines and the rail is extremely difficult. Similar packages fetch similar money in other countries. Gone are the days where you could pick one of these up in the box for less than £1k, even with no accessories.
  19. It does indeed come with the trolley...and the shield ? They definitely made them even then, and have made many revisions to their products since. Regarding the Bren pricing, I'm still waiting for updates. They only came up with a pricing structure for a minimum order quantity of 100....and I'm not in a position to fulfil that lol
  20. Weapon mounted. Handhelds would be much cheaper. That's a handheld unit with far inferior specs though. Sure it's a thermal, but I'm mainly talking about thermals scopes with a half decent spec list
  21. I'm looking at retailing a decent budget friendly entry unit for ~£730 through my business, just waiting on the unit to arrive for review. Just been upgraded so that now every unit has <18mK NETD value. Built in laser rangefinder and some other nice bits. The spec sheet is the one on the left. It doesn't mention the LRF but my model would have it. Also has a built in ballistic calculator for different rounds. Are people still after thermals these days? What does a "budget" thermal mean to you?
  22. ETA isn't until September, but I'll get the pre-orders up as soon as I know the full picture ?
  23. It will be more than that but less than the total cost if you factor in shipping and taxes. Octagon, and their FCW arm have a lot of operations based out of HK, which is also where Viva Arms are based. I have to factor in that extra cost to get it into the UK. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Octagon have managed to get it into the US at minimum cost, one way it another. Based on the fact I also know what the wholesale prices are for all distributors.
  24. Asked Viva Arms for prices, just waiting on a response ?
