To be fair the hop and feeding issues were always a thing with lct but for a long while they were making the guns with the best bodies in the business so people didnt mind so much. Its sort of a combo of e&l making guns just as nice and their bodies, the thing people bought their guns for, ending up with bad quality control

I've had both and preferred E&L which also tend to go for cheaper.
I have seen an E&L 105 for £280 which is funny money for that.

Ive had both brands before. My lct rpk needed the entire hop unit swapping out out of the box to hop at all. my e&l worked just fine from when I bought it to when I sold it. Ive also seen a lot of quality control issues with lct guns recently, recievers, stocks, handguards twisted off centre. The e&l essentials are cheaper than your average lct, so far dont seem to have the quality control issues and actually work when you get them
