Here for sale a krytac spr mk2. In very good condition, setup to run 27rps at 325fps. Instant semi and very good rof. man don't do it. brushless are in every way superior to brushed. if anything remove those 13.1 and use 18.1 +11.1!

well yes because your barrel on a 7inch is only 20cm or so. definitely you're nowhere near that situation but that's a terrible comparison lol. if the OP has a 363mm+ barrel and using .32 or heavier bbs with -5 on sector then definitely it is to be considered. in any case case that is a corner case, without knowing OP setup it's difficult to help; independently it is a terrible setup (7.4v+13.1+brushless) IMO.

I mean, brushless motors have loads of torque and the setup is not great to start with. there's lots of torque and lots of inertia due to the low ratio Gearset. I really don't get why people use 7.4v with 13.1 gears. just use 11.1 and 18:1 gears. same semi time and way less strain on the Gearset and motor (building torque with gears, NOT with motor!) but again, if changing gears and battery is not a possibility then yeah the only solution is to short stroke and use a heavier spring. at some point based on BBs used and barrel length the cylinder to barrel volume ratio will be affected so short stroking won't be the best solution

it means everything is butter smooth in the gearbox, so well done lol. up the spring and short stroke the sector to meet fps. what barrel and bb weight do you use?

anything can burn if not correctly installed; that said it should handle 11.1 with no issue (almost no point in a mosfet if it couldn't handle 11.1!) strain on gears and motors is nothing crazy and very normal today; any shs gears will handle that easily for a looong time.

are you strict to brushed? if not a 50k brushless 11.1 and 18.1 will bring you straight to 40rps. my opt.1 high speed (53k) did 42rps on 18:1 ss-4. no timing issue or any other headache. a 40k brushless will give you 33rps with 18.1 obviously it's easier to get high rps with a dsg but with brushless motors anything is possible today

agreed as above, however why 7.4v? first upgrade (if not standard nowadays really!) should be using 11.1v. if anything I'd go 11.1 and a 22tpa motor with 18.1 gears. if you don't have a mosfet a simple perun inline mosfet will do the trick.
