hi all im looking to get a WE GBB L85A2 rifle to complete my all british loadout, i have read many reviews of this gun that say the bolt catches/sticks, and that there are alot of modifications needed for this gun to get it to work as it should. can anyone who has one or has used one tell me what parts i should change i have been looking at the RA Tech upgrades and what they recommend is : RA Precision inner barrel 6.01 (500MM) RA steel CNC hammer RA steel CNC sear RA steel CNC trigger RA Maple Leaf Hop up rubber RA NPAS Installed fitting "o" rings at both ends of spring guide rod to stop distortion (again another youtube video) Youtube users also recommend changing the bolt carrier to a steel one ( Also RA) http://www.airsofttaiwan.com/shop/goods.php?id=417&from=rss - but only doing this upgrade if upper receiver is steel as could shred it also adding the daniel defence rail system on front handle area and eventually modding the top rail to change from 18mm to 20mm rail set

@ cyrexx with the PTT adaptor what pin set do i pick...? options are : kenwood (2 pin), motorola talkabout (1 pin), midland (2 pin) and icom (2 pin)

my budget is about £100 per headset and i need 4, also looking for an option like the bowman headset that's compatible with any radio i buy. problem with the baofeng uv-5r i have read that they are a pain to program, even using a stand alone ease-of-use program called chirps any advice is greatly appreciated, as im trying to get a full uk loadout, but i really want a good long range radio with the option for the bowman style headset

hi all, i am looking for a good long range walkie talkie / 2 way radio set that had a good long range and is clear, i have a license from ofcom valid for 5 years, so looking for a long range headset to accompany said license. i have a set of cobra mt645's but range drops out at about 500m in wooded areas, of which there are many in the sites local to me. i have not found any so far, hope someone can help

Hi, I recently purchased TMC MOLLE AVS Style Triple M4 Mag Pouch (MultiCam) from Zerooneairsoft.com The pouches seem to be a bit small for m4 airsoft mags, does anyone have one of these? Does it fit ok?

Hi all, To stop me from having a nervous breakdown, can you guys recommend a) some good gas blowback guns and good retailer to buy said guns from. I'm in UK price on gun not an issue, looking for cqb m4 style, metal insides and where possible metal outside. Needs to be reliable, and hard wearing also good upgrade potential and near capable.

where did you buy your guns from?

if l85 needs that much work does anyone recommend a better GBB rifle? i like CQB variants specifically m4 CQB's and it needs to be a good weight, very reliable, sound good and have good or easily replaceable internals also id like one that i can get a NPAS fitted

the money side isnt an issue, i have been airsofting before but dont own any guns at the moment, i would like a l85 as that was my service weapon and im used to it. im just trying to get opinions of people who use the gun/ had problems so i can form an educated and informed decision. i have test fired a few GBB guns and used various AEG guns really enjoying the sport/hobby depending on views and as money not an issue i have taken it out of the equation when deciding on the gun i want

The capacity of the mags on GBBR isnt a problem i fire on single shot all the time anyway, i was told the ICS wasnt very good which was a shame as i liked it, i have seen reviews on youtube of the WE GBB L85a2 and reviewed favourably, though they said maybe replace some of the internals for metal versions in the reviews i watched. out of the ICS and the WE versions i prefer the gas system

hi there, i am looking for a reliable l85 brand new, as when i spoke to a guy a patrol base and said i wanted to get one he laughed and said its unreliable and breaks alot. didnt realise it was a pistol suppressor, do you know where i can find a rifle suppressor this colour (Dark Earth) though it does say "Suitable for a range of RIFS from full length rifles to pistols"

i have not found anything relating to gearbox problems, im also looking at a Tokyo Marui Pro Line AEG M4 CQB-R (Black), as far as i know and have read the tokyo are very well made. @bazJJ who makes your HK 416 D14.5RS? on a side note does the Tokyo Marui GBB Sig p226 e2 have a small 20mm rail on the front of it? it looks like it in the pictures

yeah i can understand not getting lured but if it makes the stock internals just better quality and more durable then ill probably do it as i dont want parts wearing out in the first 6 months of use.
