I only got the good meds because the GP didn't realise BHA didn't cover their cost,as soon as they realised it was flagged.I will ask about private funding if no other option works.

I found some good knee support which help after the fact,but I think going too often may be the issue,shortening recovery time.I got a second wind when the now lost medication worked wonders.I'm getting the same issue with pop up,lol.But I haven't found anything suitable to use during play,even the good supports squeeze the life out of my legs and cause my ankles to swell.Thanks. That will be the last option for me,even with my 60+ year old body my 18 year old brain makes me get to the front and get in the action,close...😁

Hi all,as an elderly player I find I'm still struggling with knee pain (osteoarthritis) but I'm trying to manage it.I've tried many gels,tablets and supports.I was using a prescribed drug that worked well only to recently be advised that I can no longer get it because my local authority will not "support?" it.I was offered a previous version that didn't work as there are no more alternatives.My regime is/was take the tabs 3 days before a play day and then after for a few days with elasticated knee supports,depending on pain level.I moved from playing once a month to twice a month so I'll go back to monthly to see if that helps.It's hard trying to explain the ins and outs of a 60+ airsofter to a GP so I decided I'd ask on here if someone has dealt with the same issue.I was looking at mechanical braces but TBH they may be overkill IMO..sorry if I bored you but thanks for any help,tips..I'm not ready to quit yet.

I opted for the AAP01 Shinobi due to it's size and hopefully it'll keep me in the game if my primary is hit. What I'd like to know is what upgrades do they "need",I was thinking towards gas efficiency and consistency. I have 2 friends who have these but they never seem to work due to the mods they've installed. It's a secondary so I don't want to spend a fortune on it. I thought bolt,valve,hop rubber? Thanks for any help.

First and Only Airsoft the Base CQC,Swindon. We ventured here for a change of scenery,2 of us had been before and 2 were newbies.First thing they have no facilities apart from a portaloo and a stand pipe and that's it.So factor that in if you visit,we took a gas BBQ and they had no issue with that. I was delighted to find out that it was a semi only site.Semi-urban with loads of bushes,the gameplay was good,marshalling was good but they had to cover the whole map and tended to concentrate on the main action areas which is understandable. Stops between games were quick and 1 cease fire due to a couple of kids on bikes apart from that nothing much noticeable,a few teflon warriors as is the norm' but it's disappointing when they're regulars to site. I found the respawns too far for myself due to my health issues and by the end of the day I was struggling,I wasn't the only one,although I suppose due to the layout there aren't many options. Well worth a visit but go equipped,we will go again but I'll have to dose up on painkillers before. Oh and my quality Temu was a casualty...

Cheapest place for the AAP when I looked recently,then got cheaper with their sale.No one could match their price for the same item.As said if you know what you're buying that's all good.They do sell cheap stuff which needs to be avoided.

Article 1 Heretic.I bought it new from HPA. Used but in good condition,as I rarely used it,prefering my MTW. Set using .3 bb's. Bored with it sitting in my kit bag not getting used so I’ve decided to sell it. The price includes it boxed with everything you need to use it. The std mag was never used and the info pack is unopened. Comes with bottle,reg,hose,battery and single point sling. The only mods are a Silent industries hop unit,60′ hop rubber,Q/R backplate,silicone grip cover and 1 point sling. I don’t want to post it but will if the buyer insists and pays. Price is fixed,I don’t NEED to sell it but it seems a waste hence the genuine sale. I've reluctantly dropped the price,I'm playing Sunday and again I doubt if I'll use it.£650

Heretic Article 1. Standard apart from the later grip and Silent Industries Alpha hop chamber with CNC dial. Recent 60' rubber and nub. Original owner,box etc. Can add bottle,hose,reg and battery. No issues running with .3 bb's. So looking at 2 estimations. Genuinely considering selling because it doesn't suit my play style,for instance I used it for 1 game on 16/03/2025,much prefer my MTW. TIA.
