  1. One thing recently that's annoying me more and more is UK sellers happily selling hot rifles, then charge £35+ to bring it down to UK law :S

      Yep I always tell people not to buy if they won't downgrade for free.

      Would be worth checking out the legality of selling a hot gun because the sale of goods act states that any product sold must be fit for purpose.

      If a gun is over uk limits its not and its the sellers responsibility not the buyers to make it so.

      ^ agree but sounds easy to worm way out of. Could argue the purpose of the gun is only its appearance and listed functionality and there's many types of defence for owning it only one being airsofting skirmishing. 350fps is a common standard for skirmishing but not law, perhaps a limit is defined in site insurance, be interesting to know what's in such policies as it'll be much more specific than the terribly vague UK law
