  • I'd be playing airsoft, but I live with ppl over 65 so it's not really possible. Very sad.

Do you determine your ability to do other activities based on the age of the people you live with?  If you're providing 24/7 care or something, I get that but just wondering how you came to this conclusion.

It sounds like hes making the decision not to play to minimise contact with others due to the vulnerable nature of what I am assuming are his folks.

Right now bud we all have to do whatever is needed to keep ourselves and our family safe. I understand your frustrations but ultimately its for the best.

Ah yeah.  I hadn't considered that.  Sometimes I completely forget about C-19.

Batteries. I bought three to get back into the hobby, one had a manufacturing flaw and did not fit into the gun it's marketed for, and now the other is dead after ~10 rounds. My last is a different voltage.

ASG branded. @Jedi_Master my dad is a retired engineer, he's diagnosed the problem already. :)

So far patrol base are responding positively. :)

ASG battery designed for scopion evo arrived today. It went in tightly, on the way out the ejection port cover sheered into the battery and exposed it's insides.

Now I have to deal with patrolbase returns (previously a positive experience) as an unsuitable product. The last one I had needed electrical tape because it was too loose.

Ordered on the 10th, shipped on the 12th, arrived in UK on 13th.

Now 23rd and "Your parcel is being held in our delivery depot awaiting payment of customs charges. The addressee is being sent a letter outlining the charges and how to pay."

Slow asses have had the parcel 10 days and I've still not had opportunity to pay.

Remember as soon as it turns up at your local depot you can ring them and pay it over the phone. You do not need the letter - just the tracking number and a credit/debit card.

Oh thanks for this, I tried calling them earlier and the automatic message said something contrary, I'll give it another go.

Yes, existing conversation appears to work, I have just posted. Looks like new PM is not possible.

I asked a few people indicually who's opinions I value as they are good members of the forums. I then was suggested to make a topic. Wasn't thinking earlier as it was very hot

Found 0 results for "hpa" :'(

Oh goody. You could do it on 3.x.x but it wasn't an option in the ACP AFAIK. Maybe it's now more efficient like you say.

You could, but then you had to tweak the MySQL default.. which doesn't sound like a great idea and causes much larger indexes. We're now a few versions newer on the whole stack and things have changed.

    Ooo

Is there a way to change the grey font on white? So hard to read.

Yep. Much nicer. Perhaps we should give it a few weeks then see what people think though, Sacarathe. I mean I do know there's the option to readily duplicate 'themes' and have them selectable by the user. Perhaps we could make up one that's slightly more contrasty for regular folks who just wanna read? Either way, this seems like a very nice middle ground that's akin to the old site.

Every goddamn major IPB version they go and try to make it all look nice instead of creating an actual good environment for power users and new users alike. I'd probably have wanted to kill myself reading that faint grey on white for a month.

Heh, I got there after only 2 hours. But I do have ASD and a major preference for sepia on sepia.

The background colour looks a lot better now the sun has come out. :)

There hasn't been any talk about solving the expansion issues Mancraft had/have kinda solved now. Wonder what the consensus will be.

    It was my battery :(

I know hypermonkey, seen him there once or twice now as I know the zombie hand... Are you the same guy who dressed up on the halloween game (he also had a KSG)

    H
    Hypermonkey
Yep, that's me as well. So many alter-egos it's hard to keep count. The zombie piggyback costume was fun as my stride was limited to 1 1/2ft per step so stairs, escalators and moving in general was quite difficult, but fun.

Jedi whats wrong with flip flops, shorts, vest top and beanie hat? (still include eye pro)

    Jedi_Master
    Jedi_Master
I like ankle support, so Roman style sandals would work better than flip-flops. Still suffer childhood trauma from when flip's Y strap snapped and I was only left wearing flop, a long walk home.

    C
    Cheeserush
That does sound like a very traumatic experience, roman style sandals it is!

That so, well call me unhappy to make that mistake! :P Seems, non of the I5 have clear lens by default though?

    Jedi_Master
    Jedi_Master
Now that is an issue, I chose my i4 because it came with a clear lens. Then purchased a spare tinted lens for outside. I suppose you could buy a clear lens at same time as getting i5 but that will increase overall spend.

    S
    Sacarathe
I4 lens is fully compatible with i5.

Why does the only difference between the Dye I4 masks have to be colour and whether or not they've got a restricted use lens.

    Jedi_Master
    Jedi_Master
Airsofters cannot cope with too much choice. One size fits all, so only need to choose the colour of mask and if you want clear or tinted lens. Simples. What I find amazing is the price difference between colours.

    S
    Sacarathe
Aye, the most unpopular choice is £70, the most dull (with clear lens) £85, the best imo £105, and the most expensive £125 - and all functionally identical.

    Jedi_Master

Car manufacturers do the same, basic paint colour for free and then extra charges for better/more interesting colour schemes.

This gun is designed to meet government regulations with an output limit under 1.1 Joules. Please use a 9.6v NiMh or 7.4 LiPo for optimal performance.

Not sure TBH, im not up on the laws etc is this even a thing??

    Samwise
    Samwise
It's probably just copy/pasted from the Krytac description, which is probably an American mis-interpretation of the UK law.

To be fair, it's really not that clear to a lot of natives, let alone our brothers over the pond :P

I suppose it could also be to meet the NI laws, though their limit is 1J not 1.1J
