My gun seems to only feed with the front receiver pin removed and the barrel pushed forward, Any ideas on how I could fix

Try other mags n crap
New nozzle too long

what nozzle is in there - a SCAR one @ 28.5mm or something like G36/AUG @ 24mm
should be about 21.3 to 21.45mm aprox for most m4's
that is some distance = some mofo nozzle or something
correct nozzle length is critical, yes you can do a few mods n tweaks but ffs not THAT much...
With an angle grinder more like than a dremmel or file
measure nozzle and test against bucking blah blah blah.....
should really use something as close as possible to correct nozzle length
it would help if you explain exactly what you or the other guy did or didn't do or how you came about this odd mofo setup
(reason I ask is often a number of things took place and might be more than just one thing that is out of whack - so as much info & honesty as possible will help from the start)

Could be a worn/misaligned tappet plate also, there's so many variables here. Chances are you just have a nozzle that's too long though.
