Yeah it's a pain for sure but think of it as a chance to learn. Make sure to unplug the battery just in case it's a short circuit. Good luck and feel free to PM if you need more help

This is what I was hoping wouldn’t happen 😩 but I think you are correct.
-
I think there is a break inside a wire. You'll have to open it up to find where it is. It would help a lot to have a multimeter. You just need a simple one. They are quite cheap and easy to use for your needs.

No difference. And now the motor isn’t working at all 😩 than you for advising though!

Should add some for rule against stunts like that. Something like posts dprice must be the actual price, if unsure post £1234. Wow that is belter, reckon he was ripped of if he paid that new, let alone trying to flog it for that. lol

Yeah, that could be the problem I mentioned of a short in the body. With the motor in place try pushing the main wire around to see if that makes a difference.
-
Red circles, the main screws to keep it into place. As soon as I go over half way into them, it again dies and nothing happens. Take them back out and sit motor in place and it’s fine. 😩
-
Hmm, that IS strange. What do you mean, 'screw it in half way'? What about if you pull it out slightly so the screw holes don't line up? Also try moving the wire with each trigger pull.
-
I don’t 😭 it’s now working when in the pistol grip position. But as soon as I screw it in half way it again stops. Won’t lie, it’s giving me a headache 🤕
-
That indicates there is a short in the body. Do you have a multimeter? If so check continuity between the body and each motor wire.

From what I remember (Cyma/Cybergun same pew?) I had to shim my Cyma Thompson screw as it was able to be tightened too much to the point it wouldn’t fire but if it was loose the grip was also loose. The same happened on the dodgy KA one I bought off of here a while back, to the point there was at least half a centimetre gap from receiver to pistol grip to get it to work. Not a guarantee it’s the same issue, obviously, but that was my issue so maybe the same for you?
-
There aren't any, you gotta import them
-
Yeah if that solves the problem try it for a while. It will loosen up but hopefully still do the job
-
I wonder what a none working SomoGear MK1 Ngal would bring ? Thank you to everyone who has replied to my original post I genuinely appreciate the advice and guidance.
-
Maybe im going mad, but really struggled to find a madbull adaptor that is in the UK
-
My god! Stress levels 100000x fitted the wood kit, a few amendments needed not an issue. Plug her in, ran a few mags no issues. Then just went dead. Took her apart, checked the fuse, checked the connections, no issues, took the motor out where it sits plugged in, Pew pew! Awesome! Screwed motor back into place, attached battery, NOTHING. Took the motor back out, tested again, ABSOLUTELY FINE. Put it back in position, DEAD. Did this numerous times. Am I missing something blindingly obvious!?
-
The more you use it, the Velcro will wear in and make it easier whilst still securing it better
-
Cheers for the reply all, to answer @EDcase, no I can't pull the mag out. I had some velcro strip laying around, have shoved some of that in the magwell, seems to have removed the play, bit too late to test atm though, might upset neighbours. Only trouble is it has made it a bit of a pain to get the mag out, but is something I can live with
