Bough this for the ultimate Nam loadout but just prefer a good ole' G3 and fishing at the moment. Bought this second hand off a nice chap from the Used airsoft forums and haven't actually skirmished the gun myself. This is the faux wood version with etu. The gun has a few upgrades carried out by the CAGE airsoft including, -ZCI High speed motor (short) -Maple Leaf 510mm 6.02mm Barrel -XTM105 Aeg Spring -4UANTUM Friction Pro High Performance Aeg bucking The only other modifictaion I've done to the rifle is add a tiny bit of glue to the front site to keep it in place. With Hop the gun shoots between 315 - 320 fps using a 0.2 and is by far the most accurate gun I own. The trigger is responsive and the fire rate is good on a 7.4 lipo, between 700-800rpm I think. The gun comes with 4 mid caps and a single high cap. Looking for £150 for the gun plus £15 postage as I'll have to send it in the nuprol hard case as I no longer have a box for it. Hi all, I'm looking to get into airsoft teching and am searching for my first project gun to learn on. I'm looking for a boneyard M4 (or any common V2-based rifle) that is externally mostly complete but internally non-functional. I'm happy to take on guns with common, fixable problems, including: Electrical faults (e.g., just stopped working, blows fuses) Jammed / locked up on semi-auto Running sluggishly or sounding 'whiny' Stripped or grinding gears I'll also consider guns with broken or missing external parts (like stocks, handguards, grips, etc.) as long as it's a common model where spares are easy to find. The main receiver (upper and lower) should be intact. The only things I'm trying to avoid are guns with cracked gearbox shells or a literal 'box of parts'. The cover open and closes fine as a normal AR style GBB - Most parts are MWS compatible, except nozzle, mag release, trigger box case, right side bolt release (left side is normal M4 style and MWS compatible), and a few extra parts inside trigger box for Hi-capa mag mechanism.
