This is going to be a TL:DR as I like to be frank, open and honest about what I am selling.

For Sale is my Polarstar JACK’d G&G MP5 SMG

Bought this as my first AEG when I got my UKARA back in Nov 2014 brand new from a reputable Airsoft store and it has been used on probably about 5 to 6 skirmishes (my M4 took over as soon as I got it).

This is one of the G&G MP5 AEGs that had the G&G proprietary pneumatic blowback action, it worked flawlessly and as expected, back when it was an AEG I was getting 60 metres accuracy on this gun (measured using a range finder).

In Nov 2016 I purchased a Polarstar JACK with the appropriate nozzle and installed it into this AEG, whilst this disabled the use of the pneumatic blowback it has worked flawlessly. As I had a spare G&G MP5 gearbox box I used that and got rid of the original one plus motor.

Since then I haven’t used it much, only once at the Mall in Reading and once at Red1 The School.

Comes with the following:

·         G&G MP5A5 with retractable stock

·         7 x G&G MP5 hi cap magazines

·         2 x unknown brand mid caps

·         MP5 Swordfish Front and upper rail

·         G&G MP5 front hand guard

·         Night Evolution M300 Scoutlight

·         Madbull Black Python 6.03 tight bore barrel

·         Polarstar JACK HPA engine

·         Padded Hard Case

·         Manual

·         MP5 flash hider big

·         MP5 muzzle end

·         MP5 front sight

·         MP5 rear dioptre sight

·         MP5 front sling point

·         MP5 gas block cover

·         MP5 selector lever (spare)

·         MP5 charging handle bar, handle and pin

Other stuff added but not in photos:

·         Polarstar JACK paperwork

·         Polarstar JACK M4 nozzle

·         Polarstar JACK stock airline

·         Air line removal spanner

·         Also I will probably throw in the MP5 mag pouches I have as well as I will have no use for them afterwards

So in reality for the asking price you getting the gun albeit missing a few parts to convert it back into an AEG, the gun is fully working with HPA and loads of extras as mentioned above and the elusive Swordfish front end which will make you stand out among other MP5 users.

Things not included:

HPA Tank (I used a 68ci/4500 carbon fibre tank)

HPA regulator (I used a redline SFR regulator)

HPA Line (I used an amped Airsoft braided line)

7.4v Lipo battery (I used a Nano-Tech 7.4v 300mAh Lipo battery)

Original MP5 claw sight mount (lost somewhere)

Original MP5 handguard (lost somewhere)

Reason no HPA kit included:

I still of course airsoft and own a couple of other HPA guns therefore I still need my tanks, regulators, lines and batteries. Most of this stuff can be sourced elsewhere but it’s a good start into getting into HPA.

Condition:

The MP5 and the Polarstar JACK are in excellent working condition, I would even go as far and say the JACK is close to brand new. However over the years a few scuffs have appeared on the gun mainly around the rear sling loop.

Also, I once snapped the charging handle of the gun off as you can see in the pictures, I jury-rigged a screw and pin to hold the handle in place whilst a new one was on order (seen in listing), since getting the new one I kind of grew to like the screwed on one and it probably more hard wearing as it’s a steel screw compared to zinc/aluminium they use. The jury-rigged charging handle does NOT affect the performance of the gun and still locks back even with the Swordfish mod so you can adjust the hop up.

I have spray painted some key parts gold as I wanted the MP5 to match my general gun layouts of black and gold (big fan and owner of several SAI guns), I have done this to the best of my ability but it is flaking off here and there. But I have some spares of those parts in black (see added accessories).

I have also had to mod the receiver of the MP5 to accommodate some of the bits I wanted to, firstly I dremelled in grooves on either side of the receiver in order for it to accept the front hand guard which fits perfectly with no perceptible wobble.

Secondly, I also had to drill (widen) out the base plate for the motor so that the HPA airline could run out of it. See below picture:

I drilled a slightly larger hole where the wires come out into the front handguard in order to pass through the FCU wire harness with connector through. See below picture:

Lastly, 2 of the seven hi cap magazines have lost their retention pin, I managed to cobble together a pin and used some tape to hold it in place. They still work fine if a little stiff to get in and out of the mag well, see below pics.

Can it be converted back to AEG?

In short, yes.

The gearbox in the MP5 has never been used as an AEG, I had a spare and literally removed the old one and replaced it with the new one.

I think the gearbox already contains the following from memory:

·         Gearbox casing

·         Pneumatic blowback piston, cover, springs and rubber o-ring

·         Safety lever

·         Trigger

·         Spring guide

·         Selector plate

·         All required screws

If you want to convert it back to AEG including the pneumatic blowback, the pneumatic blowback parts are still in the gearbox to do so.

All you will need to add is:

·         The necessary wiring

·         Motor

·         Gears

·         Anti Reversal Latch

·         Piston + head

·         Spring (of you choice)

·         Cylinder + head

·         Tappet plate

·         Nozzle

·         Necessary version 2 spring

I believe you will also need a new motor base plate as the original has been drilled out to allow the HPA line to pass through.

You can find them here:

Video of the same MP5 in operation when it was an AEG at Red1: The school:

I will not split the package as all needs to go. Not interested in swaps as I more or less have all the guns I ever want/need and frankly need the cash for other financial commitments.
