Hello,
Up for sale is a steel slide and parts set from Guarder for the TM Gen 3 G19. Included in the sale is:
- Guarder G19 gen 3 CNC steel slide
- Guarder steel dummy ejector (plunger has been polished to look stainless, and ejector has been permanently secured with green loctite)
- Guarder G19 gen 3 CNC steel outer barrel
- Guarder G19 gen 3 steel luminous 3-dot night sights
- Guarder G19 steel slide-stop
- Guarder G19 polymer backplate
The original finish has been carded off as I wanted to mimic the now discontinued shiny tenifer finish on older Glocks and smoothed out the matte-black guarder finish with a brass brush and polish. It's more of a shiny gunmetal grey vs. the original matte black now, I've attached some assembled examples and comparisons with a brand-new Guarder steel slide G34 so you can get a sense of the difference in colour to the Guarder finish from the factory.
There is minimal wear-and-tear from use as it was a collection piece and never used in a game. There is some wear from break-in and holster wear near the muzzle, but as you can see from the usual wear points like the barrel and inside of the slide it is still in fairly new condition. If I had to estimate it would be somewhere around 10~20 mags total ran through the gun overall. Otherwise it was oiled well and kept in storage.
The kick from the heavy slide and the steel-on-steel noise from racking the slide is incomparable to its plastic or aluminum counterparts. I really enjoyed this build but I've since purchased a different slide I want to try on my g19 so letting this go at a discount so that other members can enjoy an affordable steel Glock build.
