Ares L85A2 carbine non-blowback.

 

Has had some work done to it to sort the typical Ares issues...

 

Originally bought this from a forum member a few years ago in bits with no gearbox at all, a missing a hop unit, front sling loop & screw. All components sourced directly from Ares HK, worth over £100

 

Stock Ares gearbox with the work carried out & parts fitted;

- Re-shim gears

- Re-grease

- AoE correction (with piston head spacer)

- Check compression/ change piston o-ring 

- Ares SA80 stainless nozzle with o-ring 

- Maple leaf macaron 60° bucking & omega nub

- Rewired to silicone 16AWG & trigger contact wiring 

- Deans connector 

- Gate Mosfet

 

Cosmetically it's like new but does have a few minor marks.

 

Firing consistently: 293-294fps on 0.28g BB's (1.12-1.13 Joules)

 

Comes with:

-Brand new 7.4V 1100mAh stick type LiPo battery wired to deans

-M4 style Hi-Cap mag.

 

All work is carried out by myself and I'm happy that everything that's done is done properly and it's a reliable AEG.

 

Never skirmished by myself as it's been sat in the box since I got it up to scratch.
