Thanks for your feedback!

Considering they’ve sold for as low as £250 on here previously I’m happy with my starting price range.

At the end of the day, the way to maturely negotiate is to contact someone with a counter offer and then discuss pricing, but it’s fine if you haven’t mastered that yet.

Even if it is too low for you, what do you gain by just poking fun and being rude rather than making a useful suggestion, and actually contributing, hmm?

Yeah…. No chance mate….sorry.

No worries mate. Any suggestions on an appropriate pricing then?
No one else has been much help so far.

I’ve seen them go quite cheap on here, and I’m cautious about overpaying for a used gun, regardless of condition, and yet I know they’re fairly rare and very good bits of kit.

I’d appreciate any light you can shed.

Unfortunately ghk aks are not available worldwide atm. They also have a really good reputation among owners, due to fuction, reliability and sheer fun/ awesomeness!( I would not even consider getting rid of mine)Therefore they hold their price second hand.

I think you would be better off just putting a wanted add up without a price limitation, and hope for the best.
good luck mate. Get hold of one and Never let her go!!

That’s really helpful actually and makes a lot of sense.

Much appreciated mate!

If you have seen one sell at £250 then I have some magic beans I would like to sell you.

Seen them go for cheap when? 2013?  Yet you acknowledge they are rare and good bits of kit......hmmmmm doesnt quite add up does it?

Please refer to my above about maturity.

At this point I’m not even particularly interested in what you have to say, because you’re not helping, so…

Know your market is the message fella, if you take offence at someone saying LOL then you are going to go around being butt hurt a lot.  I believe its a phrase in common usage meaning Laugh Out Loud, I am not sure how that in any way can be interpreted as being immature.

And maybe actually contribute something to the forum other than your 6 posts before you go slinging mud

It’s more your general tone to be honest.

I get what you were perhaps trying to demonstrate or display, but rather than opening with a message that portrays “Hah, this guy’s an idiot let’s just post a piss-take”, why not actually say something simple and helpful like “£400 is a little low for this item mate, maybe offer a little more and you might get some hits.”

The immaturity comes from you choosing the former over the latter as your staring interaction.

LOL itself is not offensive, and by no means am I offended by it, but I’m obviously trying to find an item, and instead of helping, you just laugh at what you consider ineptitude.

In terms of “contributing to the forum”, everyone starts somewhere, and regardless of how many posts (or internet points) you think I need to have before I start slinging mud, who are you to tell me how to use it?

I’m on this forum for one primary reason, and that is to locate and purchase airsoft items for my team.

In regards to you linking that post in your last message, thank you very much, I’m in the process of contacting the seller and will be looking at possibly buying this, however I’ve also had a friend just offer me one for £450, so I may look at that first.

If someone offers you one for £450 bite their arm off because they are a fool, especially if it has magazines and is functional.  If its not functional I would still buy it as they are easy to fix, I am particularly good with them but lets face it you have burnt that bridge

I’d trust one of my in-house gunsmith more anyways, as he came from Poland and has experience working on original AKs.

Which whilst wonderful has absolutely zero relevance to an airsoft GBBR. The GHK has a number of quirks it takes time to get to know them to get it running nicely, but hey good luck with that and your real life armourer, I am sure he has a lot of experience with GBBR airsoft toys
