Description
Selling 10 Star (Ares) G36 "140"rd (more like 95 rd) mid caps, all have been modified with the locking catches filed slightly to fit normal non-Star G36s and all the locking lugs being sawn off and filed smooth since they were so fragile one broke during testing.
Additionally, since the mags are around a decade old if not more all the springs were too weak to reliably feed so they've been replaced, 8 of them have had MAG PTW springs with homemade joints cut from polycarbonate to hold them together and they feed flawlessly on .25s at 20 rps. The remaining 2 have had other springs cannibalised from other magazines, including a battleaxe Pmag.
The BB catch springs at the top have also been replaced, as if knocked too hard the mags would unload, but this hasn't solved the problem entirely. I'm not entirely sure what else can be done to resolve this, other than keep mags in separate secure pouches or possibly load them less as the PTW springs have quite a bit of tension, or maybe even stronger springs but I'm at my wits end so here they are.
