huppcio Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Hi, I have seen quite a few people in states use propane gas bottles with magpull adapter as more wallet friendly solution for their guns, also guns performs better in cold weather. Any of You using them in Uk too? Cant seem to find any cheap propane bottles to make it worth while, most of them are same cost as green gas bottles already. Cheers
The_Roach Posted Sunday at 19:20 Posted Sunday at 19:20 I buy bulk MAPP propane from a certain DIY store, the main advantage is price but there's no difference with Green Gas in winter. The real difference lies with the hop-up. The lack of silicone oil in the propane gets your hop-up to have a better effect on the unlubricated BB. And use maintenance gas in my mags after the game to keep the joints lubricated.
Danhc92 Posted Sunday at 20:13 Posted Sunday at 20:13 MAPP is propylene which is a higher pressure than propane.
Lyndication Posted Monday at 06:57 Posted Monday at 06:57 There's no need for maintenance gas. The_Roach and Danhc92 2
MistakenMexican Posted Thursday at 12:31 Posted Thursday at 12:31 The challenge is finding a decent propane adapter. you can buy MAPP and plumbers propane for £5 per 400g online. The OG adapter was the airsoft innovations adapter. I really regret selling mine. The Jaeger propane adapter is a pants product *unless* you only plan on using Coleman’s canisters. Ive had mixed results with the madbull adapters. I've got the best results with the Bavtac adapter.
The_Lord_Poncho Posted Thursday at 13:22 Posted Thursday at 13:22 To be fair, with adapters, i've always got on just fine with the Aliexpress ones. They tend to last about 3 yrs before the rubber gaskets go, but are super cheap....
Lyndication Posted Thursday at 13:59 Posted Thursday at 13:59 I went through three, each leakier than the last
