TM G17 Steel Slide Upgrade

Hi all,

 

About to order the steel slide from Guarder. Will I need anything else to get this to properly cycle? Will I have any issues or will I be good to go?

I had to change the recoil spring setup.

Recoil springs , gas router and high flow valve may help too .

What generation slide are you buying? 3, 4 or 5.

 

Each have their own quirks.

 

for gen4 and 5, it’s recommended you use the matching guarder light weight BBU and reinforced nozzle set. The matching recoil rod is also very important.

 

for gen3, it’s really pot luck because the QC was so bad. I’ve had slides that just drop in. Others need hours of fitting.

I was gonna get the Laylax BBU and nozzle, guide rod and 150% spring, will that

be enough?

What generation glock are you going for? Sounds like generation 3?
