Clutch precision

Has anyone used the clutch precision parts?

I ask as I'd like to buy some upgrade parts but my first experience with them isn't good. I bought their mp7 base plate and not at all satisfied with it, the precision part of their name doesn't seem to be there, had to file and shape it to get to fit correctly and the holes they mill out for the but stock are way too big and don't hold the stock correctly in my book compared to the OEM plastic one (pictured below for comparison). I wouldn't recommend this part to anyone to replace a broken OEM plate instead just get a replacement plastic one with a steal latch as it'll be so much cheaper that this one.

Might be designed in Germany but their production is sourced out to Asia and imagine this is where the lack of precision can stem from.

Are all of their upgraded parted of the same quality? if so this is a company I'll be putting in the same category as Ra tech and not buying any more from them.

Oh huh.

So far the VFC MP7 Backplate has been like their one consistently good product. Everything else has had issues. Hell they made a steel bolt for the WE SVD that simply would not fit, the dimensions were completely wrong. They blamed WE for getting the dimensions wrong and crashed out really hard.

They say German designed but the guy who runs it is Latvian and ships to within the EU form there. Packages to outside the EU come directly from their subcontractors in China. They use a machine-to-order online service to save money, instead of a single production partner. So every batch is made by a different manufacturer and some of them are much worse than the others. Talking things like the MP7 Magazine Baseplates going from genuinely great one batch to simply not fitting at all in the next batches.

Cannot recommend you avoid them enough. I have their Steel MP7 Bolt as a damn paperweight now. The nozzle bore is the wrong size so the nozzle just rattles around in there.

I thought that might be the case as it took weeks to arrive when I ordered it. I'll definitely steer clear in the future if that's the case. From your experience what companies these days are good to use for parts as I've been out the game for 8 years and things have changed so much since I played originally, for 1 gbb at the time bar pistols was a big niche and not many companies at it but the ones doing it where great but they are now terrible or fell off the map.

Yea definitely. I bought a Ra tech nozzle for my l85 and it was so bad it smashed up my hop chamber and constantly miss fed. Only Ra tech bits I use are their npas as they do seem decent never had an issue with those.

Clutch Precision QC is so bad it makes RATech's look good.

(Context, RATech are allergic to micrometers)
