Wow,  the most I have seen is £80 difference. Best price I have found is £599.99

Raresoft preorder is £740. Which is mildly absurd given the other retailers.

If you want to really save money, the cheapest way is buying from ProAct, as its $506USD with free EMS shipping - so even after customs and parcelfarce take their pound of flesh it'll only be £460ish.

I don’t have UKARA any longer, and would be very uneasy about buying a complete gun from overseas with customs and border force being as they are.

You can't buy a new RIF anywhere without UKARA though?

There's an easy fix for it at least.

Many defences available, very few shops only take UKARA these days. I have Sportsman Association and it’s accepted in most shops, only one I found that didn’t was patrol base.

Oh right.

Chuck that on the import parcel then tbh.

I think that customs and border force only recognise UKARA, even with it there can be problems. I would rather pay a bit more in a U.K. shop and be certain of getting it delivered.

I got one delivered from high pressure airsoft.

Took it out for a bit at RIFT Blackstone today.  Got a lot of admiring glances, and a couple of guys test fired it on the range in full auto and all loved it...

I did have a small drawback of only having the one mag and one gas tank that it was delivered with,  and the output valve has a slight leak, so I need to look into that....   an overnight soak in silicone oil and a few puffs of maintenance gas will be first port of call

I had ordered some spare mags and a spare gas tank fron SOCOM tactical to reduce faffing around to replace the mag insert on the field, but they didn't turn up in time.  Not that I really burned through ammo at a semi-only site....   plus it's a bit bulky for the tight corners, so probably not an ideal CQB weapon.

Aside from the slight gas leak from the tank (which i kept on top of by topping up gas in between games), it ran flawlessly, but half way through the afternoon I packed it away and switched to my MP7 that was more suited to the sites tight turns.

Bugger,  wish I had known...  could have saved myself a bunch of cash.

Oh well.   At least I know I got it, and the customs monkeys weren't going to break it....    unlike my VFC M249 I imported 😒

Would not recommend the silicon oil soak. The o-rings in VFC guns are nitrile, silicon oil doesn't inflate them or anything like that. Has no benefit.

May just need to tighten the output valve slightly, or grease (not oil) the inner o-rings so they sit a bit better.

Wouldn't recommend oiled gas either, it gets sprayed all over your hop rubber.
