Tm full auto tracer

Hi

Bit confused and wondered if anyone could take a guess at this. Never used a tracer in my years of airsoft, my son wanted one.

I picked up the Tm tracer. First game day it worked for around 30mins and then stopped, then occasionally then stopped. Checked everything, swapped batteries. Thought it might be the crappy nuprol bbs. It started working again in the afternoon but I switched to my mp7.

I brought some asg blaster tracers presuming that had been the issue for the second game day. Yet again it worked for 20mins then went off. Took it off and dropped some bbs through it and it was working. I tested it on the tm mp5ngrs, tm ak storm and tm mp7 and it refused to work at all on the rifs.

Any ideas? Maybe the small amount of recoil causing issues?

Contacted eagle6 but no reply yet. I'll have to ring. But I know if I send it back it will work knowing my luck.

Any help appreciated.

Hi bud

Airsoft World bought a big batch of TM suppressors a while ago, a huge percentage of them arrived faulty or non operational

They ended up selling them off for like £8 or something stupid as non functional suppressors just to clear the warehouse of them

I think they were just one of the TM products that never got the allocation of TM Pixies

Does it have an auto shut down function If not fired? If not sounds faulty.

You may have a faulty tracer. Or bad batteries?

my TM full auto tracer is nearly 15 years old and going strong. It stays on as long as the power button is toggled on.

I'm not sure if it does but it does stop sometime while playing and won't work while on the RIF after that.

Tried some different batteries and same issue, it traces when dropping a BB through it off the RIF. As usual I thought it would just work and keep going like all my TM stuff.

Its absolutely baffling!
