Fma caiman nvg battery pouch

Got my helmet today, and I'm in the throws of getting it setup and it's bit of a faff but I'm nearly there

However......

Any helmet cover I have, isn't compatible with the nvg battery pouch I have

Now whilst this isn't the end of the world, as I have some nvg mount flip down goggles coming , I'd still like to have the option of using my v2 fan goggles if need be

How do you guys find to be the least fuss free way of doing this?

I am actually liking this process of setting up my new kit exactly how I like, but I stopped before I started ripping out what little hair I have left

PVS31 Battery Retention System holds an Exfog with room to spare. Will work with the helmet cover or without, can even set it up without the use of Velcro. Replica https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006574447558.html? real deal https://www.tactical-kit.co.uk/ferro-concepts-pvs31-battery-retention-system-35500-p.asp

Can also just Velcro the fog unit to the back and use some bungee attached to the helmet rails to hold it in place.

Thanks, had a feeling that the pvs31 would do the job, this one I have feels very flimsy

You know Airsoft, got to have options especially if one piece of kit doesn't work as intended, been there too many times in the past

This is my first helmet build, after idiot here split his head inside a mine 🤣

Got some impact sports and a baofeng 5rm pro for some cheap coms as I'll be doing Ai500 next month

Oh nice one. Bit of unsolicited advice - Once you have everything set up, put it on and wear it for an hour or so to see if its going to be a torture device. A bit of neck muscle pain is expected but if you have a splitting headache need to adjust the padding.

Will do, I'll throw it all on once I've set it up, like you say got to know if it fits fine

I bought extra helmet padding just in case

I'm used to wearing a lid, and this one feels fine but duly noted 👍
