Hudson Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Looking to venture further afield to make up for a lack of interesting sites up North, I'm considering some sites, one of which is Fireball, near Birmingham. Has anyone been before, or currently plays there? If so, what's it like? How does it play, what are the players and staff like? How's the terrain, and are there any site specific rules or restrictions to be aware of? Thanks!
Captain Darling Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Yeah, it’s good at Fireball. They have been going as a members based club for donkeys years, with a game the first Saturday of every month. I’ve been a few times over the last 20 years or so, and had fun. I was last there a couple of weeks ago, and the hit taking seemed exceptionally good to me. Give it a try, they are a friendly bunch. Hudson Posted January 14 Author Posted January 14 Thanks, hoping to make it up when schedules and the stars align!
Jay77 Posted February 14 Posted February 14 (edited) Just echoing the above comments, great club run site, friendly, well run games with no tolerance for throbbers. Been driving 100 miles to their walk ons and themed games,so must be worth it. Terrain wise pretty flat with some dense undergrowth, clearings and some well thought out buildings including a Cowboy/Western village all of which are kept in good repair. Pretty standard site rules.
