Svendogg
Got this recently, seems pretty decent but the safety/selector is, quite honestly, garbage. Spongy and doesn't positively click at any setting, you have to be very careful with it. Is there any method to modify this to get a more positive/definite selector and safety? When you're used to M4s or AKs which have much better selector systems it's a massive let down
Anonymoose
Is it new or used? If used, the detent might be gummed up and not giving a positive feel. Otherwise possibly a case of opening up the lower and trigger group to add a better detent, but that's not straight forward. Example: Those little "bumps" are detents for the fire selector on a Glock 18c. Austeyr
Svendogg
It was bought new a couple of months ago, only used a handful of times but was crappy since day
Nick G
I believe the AA version is pretty much a clone of the WE G36. If that's the case there is (from memory) a spring and ball detent fitted to each selector lever. The selectors can be removed easily enough , well worth checking to see if stronger springs would help. Parts breakdown of the WE below. sjhirst
It's not the best selector in the world! I took the lower off mine, undid the inside tiny grub screws (146 on diagram) and stretched the springs a little bit. That improved it a tad bit.
